  1. This is the address that you can use to send back your signing bonus, additional money in your check due to raises, profit sharing and other bonuses. Prove you want nothing to do with any bone-us or crooked union contract, and send it all back to company!

  2. If they go back to the table, we will probably lose a lot of U.S. investment. I am not sure if people truly understand that losing U.S. investment means less job security for younger workers? There was $9 billion in U.S. investment, and the creation of 8,000 jobs in this contract. Be assured that Mexico will happily take thousands of jobs, Wall Street would cheer, Ford stock will go up and the executives would get bigger bonuses. Ford will not offer more money. They will just look at this as an opportunity to send more jobs to Mexico, and not one person will blame Ford for doing so, because we voted this contract down.

  3. You've been warned! Just remember that when you check the yes box in January for the same contract. For those of you who say they can't afford it, they can, and will actually save money. There is over a 2 month supply of trucks last I checked. Could be more by now.

And they are threatening to strike during the months when car sales are always at their lowest?

If we do gain anything financially, we will just lose some of the U.S. investment. Again, what good is more money without job security??

"Ford’s CEO added that it should instead reduce investments on its plants to get better terms on the agreement. Three assembly plants are expected to vote on the agreement, after which results will be announced."
  5. All you no voters who think your cool will vote in the same contract if it does get voted down. Ford will wait until after the holidays and give us the same one. By then most of you will be broke by than. No turkey day or Black Friday pay. No Christmas holiday pay either, enjoy, hope you saved!

Exactly! Do these people actually believe that Ford is going to put themselves in a position where they have higher labor costs than GM?? They will all say that Ford makes more money so they can afford it! Well maybe one day they will not make more money. Not to mention that UAW has always negotiated contracts that kept pay and benefits pretty equal for all auto workers. They are choosing to strike during the the holiday season when car sales and at their lowest. Good luck, everyone! You are going to need it! By the way, it is illegal to block scab workers or to be violent on the picket line, so if you were hoping to act like animals, not gonna happen! Peace!

  6. There is not one instance in recent history where a strike has benefited the workers!! This was a good contract! We could have went into negotiations in four more years and got even more! You had great job security, great health insurance, raises, profit sharing and bonuses. Job security was one of the biggest part of this contract!! What good is a 4 year path to full pay if you get an ILO notice due to lack of work. Ford does not have to give MAP a new product! It would cheaper for Ford to make the Ranger in Mexico.

  7. What is funny is that you people actually think you are going bully Ford into giving you more?? Guess what, they will NEVER make themselves less competitive than GM and Chrysler. Your vote no actions have opened a nasty door. Ford will just invest more in their overseas plants and in Mexico. You fools had job security, the best health insurance you could ask for, raises, bonuses and great profit sharing! Not to mention free legal service and tuition assistance! SMH!!

  8. Get ready to strike! Ford can weather the storm for a while! Christmas season and January and historically low sales when it comes to cars! Ford will NOT offer more and you will be willing to take a contract worth less after a while! Good luck everyone, have fun! Enjoy the picket line!

  9. If this contract is not ratified, the union leaders will go to each plant and explain that this is the best deal there is. They will try to explain that there is not a better contract waiting in the wings. They will put it to another vote, if it fails again we go in strike. The company will then either repackage this deal or offer us a worse deal. If you get to the point were you can no longer live on $200 a week, you will take any deal offered to you just to save your job. Thousands of people will be willing to cross the picket line and do your job for less money, and you will not be able to stop them from doing so!
