This is my first American car in 30 years and none of the frames of my Honda's ever looked like that!!! even beyond 10 years old. This C-max was originally from Trenton, MI but had only spent one winter in MI then moved South. I live in Atlanta, GA. And yes, this is considered rusting out. The rust starts on the inside...when you see if visibly it usually has rusted through. .

My 2014 C-Max energy has rust ion the frame in the back end on many of the welds (see attached photos). The car was mfg in May-2014 and now has 16k miles Is this covered by the warranty. It looks like bad welding to begin with.
