  1. Didn't see an update on your car - do you have it yet? Sure hope so as I ordered one about a month ago that is scheduled at same plant.

I do have the car. It arrived in early April and it is a fantastic car. Much faster than my 2013 gt premium and normal ride quality with magnaride is way better than the 13. The 10 speed automatic feels very much like a cvt. Be very certain you are pointing where you want to go when you mash the gas.

  2. Unfortunately, no. Once it gets released for shipping its out of Fords hands, its a completely different company that handles shipping. And as an unfortunate double whammy, the Flat Rock plant is notorious for shipping delays.

Thanks for reply. Waiting is terrible and the dealer says mid April delivery. 2 plus weeks seems like a long time to travel about 200 miles.

  3. Is there any way to track a new mustang once it leaves the factory? According to cotus my car 1FA6P8CF4J5153981 was built March 27 and was in transit March 29 at about 7am. I'm near Cincinnati about 200 miles south of flat rock. I called the dealer and they aren't very helpful.

  4. someone mentioned in another thread that for whatever reason the Magneride dampers are limited availability right now. Unfortunately for the Canadian guy the US gets first crack at stuff like that.

Good to hear because I ordered the magneride dampers. Mine is scheduled for the week of March 26 according to the Ford performance folks.

  5. Thanks for the replies. Sounds like different cars come down the same line. That has to be very sophisticated systems to get the right parts to the proper places at the right time. I assume there are some parts or systems that would apply to both cars. How do you paint the Lincolns that don't fit in the paint shop?

On a side note I got a VIN number this morning for my car progress is good.
