I think they are just comparing it to the ever popular midsize SUVs. My wife had a Lexus RX 350 before the Navigator and of course it feels huge compared to that. On the other hand my daily driver is a 17' F350 dually crew cab long wheel base...so when I drive the Navigator it feels like a toy. It's all about perspective. I think another thing that makes the Navigator feel bigger than most as well is that its basically a rectangular box inside. The rear head room is nearly as much as the front. There's no swooping down of the roofline which conveys a more enclosed sensation in smaller vehicles.

Thanks for the comments! Yes the headliner and A pillars are suede...or that alcantara look alike on all the luxury brands. I will try to take some more pics of the interior tomorrow. The thing that impresses me most about this beast is how quiet it is, even at interstate speeds.

Hey everyone, just posting some pics of our recent delivery. Ordered 11/21, built 2/12, delivered 3/8. The Platinum white with Destination theme is stunning. The pics don't do it justice. I'm impressed at how well this thing handles itself for a SUV of this size. Forgive the image quality...had to downsize big time to fit the file size requirements. We went with the short wheelbase cause its just me and the wife. Ours was one of 4 black label Navis being delivered that day.

Update! Dealer called and my black label Navigator just arrived (Knoxville, TN). Ordered November 21st, Produced 2/12, ETA for delivery was 15-21. Arrived today March 8th (Knoxville, TN). Killed me that it took 24 days to get the vehicle delivered 200 miles away but I'm happy that it's here now!!!

Thanks for the info! Wow that sucks. . Was hoping it would be here this coming week. Nearly 5 weeks for delivery, over 16 weeks since ordering. Wish I could run over to the factory and drive it to my dealer lol.

Fuzzymoomoo, could you please give me a status update on my black label VIN 5LMJJ2TT9JEL06694. It was ordered November 21st, was scheduled to be built 2/12. I live in Kentucky....killing me having to wait 3 weeks already just a 100 miles from the factory haha. Obviously I'm brand new to the forum. Looks like a great place for information. Thanks!!!!
