  1. Why is it when you go to the page on the website for pricing and incentives and put in Ranger it shows the XL, XLT, and Lariat. But, if you try and change from a 4x2 to a 4x4 , or from a regular cab to a super cab (they don't even show a super crew), or pick a sport option (they don't show a chrome) all the pricing for MSRP, X Plan and Net Plan Price goes away and just says "Pricing for this vehicle is temporarily not available. Please see your dealer for pricing details." ?
  2. I'll bet you were disappointed when there weren't any other options you could put on one !
  3. That's the way I'm leaning. Just get the 3.73 Locker and I should be fine for the weather here in Greenville and what "I plan" on doing with it over the next few years.
  4. Yeah, but if I traded it after 4 years and never hardly used the 4X4 I might get back an extra $2,000...so I'm not sure it's worth it especially if it's financed too. I guess it boils down to if I knew I was going to have a use for it more, or get more than 50 cents back on the dollar after say 4 years then it makes it easier to justify.
  5. No, I wasn't planning on selling it any time soon unless I just wasn't happy with it. That 4 grand is a 10% bite and seems like an awful lot to consider for resale or trade-in value when needed.
  6. Yep, mine specs out at $44,640 if I go with the 4X4... and I say if because I don't have a boat, RV, or trailer and don't have any plans of getting any of these in the near future plus living in Greenville, SC we don't get a lot of bad winter weather and I don't hunt or do any off-roading. However, having said all that, I've been told that I'm nuts to get a loaded Lariat without it being a 4X4 for resale value ???
  7. Yeah, but when you do the summary the total price is correct. They put the $2,175 upgrade for the crew cab in the options. So when I add the $ 36,210 + 1,095 destination + my options the total options figure is $2,175 higher to cover the upgrade. Now granted it shouldn't be done that way, but at least the dollar amount is correct.
  8. Something else I've noticed is that on the leaked configurator from a few days ago the other interior besides black looked like camel, but the order guide is saying medium stone which is grey.
  9. Any idea how long until the Build & Price Ford website goes up now that the order guide is out ?
  10. Yeah, per that leak a 4X4 Lariat will be $ 38,385 without any other options ! And of course no initial incentives or financing deals.
  11. Google shows where an order guide was briefly leaked by mistake that Ford had taken down from twitter. They say it will be released next week. It was supposed to be Monday the 13th. I haven't asked a dealer yet. I was waiting to see the "Build and Price" on Ford's website because I am going to 2 dealers and let them try and earn my business.
  12. Huh? As a consumer wanting to buying one, why wouldn't there be any hype/advertising if I was able to walk into a dealer and order one in August ???
  13. When I said a little more than a month from now, I was referring to the date when supposedly dealers could start taking/placing orders. I was aware that production wouldn't begin until November.
  14. Just a little over a month out now and hardly any news or advertising ?
