2016 Lariat Rider

I updated (automatically) by Sync 3 with Nav. After the successful download I have no more voice control, just a warning " Voice Recognition not ready". I then downloaded the update on a USB and tried again ….NOPE. I did a master reset, NOPE. Disconnected the battery, NOPE. The customer service chat was very polite and repeated everything I did and after 2 hours sent me on my way. Now I noticed that automatic update screen shows that the last update check was 6/20/2000......YES 2000. Is there any hope?
