Mine is a buyback so I had to use a sales director.  Larry's card says "LL Poole J"  lol

I use KP for service.  Their concierge is a retired school teacher.  He likes it when I get them to come pick up my car (Sevierville!) I think he enjoys the drive.

Haha.  That’s awesome!  Such a small world!  I hope yours gets built soon!  I would imagine you are a good bit frustrated being that you’re also on buyback.

And now it says “in production” again .

    Edit-

    And now it’s “built” again.

You’re doing better than me. I can’t get mine to track ?. I just want to see the window sticker lol. Congratulations. I’m in East TN so not too far from Louisville so my delivery estimate is April 6-12.  We’ll see if it holds. Getting a little excited now

I have no idea on what the chip hold is for the Expedition.  As of right now the units coming off the line are less stock windshield wiper motors.  I haven't seen any other issues on nights this past week.

Would you mind sharing if the plant is operating as normal this week or at reduced staffing?

Not sure what it all means, but I’m hoping progress.

    1. Activate “button” has now appeared on the app.  Doesn’t work, but may mean my Navigator has talked to the cloud at least once.

    2.  On the tracking website, clicking the in production circle now gives a date of 3/25/2022. There wasn’t a date before. Important?  No idea.

    3. Going to the Motorcraft site https://www.motorcraftservice.com/AsBuilt/ and entering my VIN, I can now see all the modules associated with my vehicle, a new development since Friday 3/24.

If all goes well, next week I can start obsessing about train schedules.

OK, I have all of those too and that's new since Friday night :)  Slight glimmers of hope :)

I have the “activate button” in the app, so I’m getting closer.

I haven’t paid attention to that. I assume that’s new?  I would imagine since we received our “in production” update at same time I should be right behind you ?. I was wondering if you had received any updates so I’n glad you posted!

  6. Well, we ultimately decided not to buy it. We will probably regret it, but that's life haha. The salesman was so confused as to why in the world we weren't going to buy it. It was probably the best spec'd and best deal anywhere in the US right now. We may hold off and see what the '23 updates bring and then begin the long process of ordering one. Thanks y'all for the advice.

That is the question -- pay MSRP (and probably additional garbage fees also forgone by X-Plan), or wait. In my case, a local Tucson dealer from whom I've bought 3 was playing the MSRP + 4K 'market adjustment' game and would not honor X-Plan even on a build, so he quickly became my ex-dealer and I ordered with X-Plan from a dealer from GA (whom I'd like to customize it anyway). Are you good with waiting 4-6 (or more?) months for a build? You only have a few days left with order banks now officially closing on 22's 4/1, so who knows when 23's orders will be open. Of course that may be another reason to wait and just build -- if you can handle the unknown there.

That is definitely part of the equation. MSRP + a bunch of dealer add on stuff that we were not aware  of initially. Thanks for the info on the order banks. That was good info I wasn’t aware of. So many decisions ?

  8. I need some advice. We have found fools gold and an available super duty on a lot spec’d how we would order. They are selling at MSRP. My local dealership is willing to order and all me to use xplan bc of a previous relationship with them. With lead times the way they are and I don’t anticipate them getting better anytime in near future is xplan pricing worth the wait?!  I’m leaning with no, but we do have a great relationship with local dealer and don’t want to cause issues.

Yes, I see that now, sorry. Doesn't make sense unless the colorizers on lincoln.com are wrong. Every BL color you select shows the grille inserts as chrome, not body colored.

Did you order the special edition package?  I can’t recall.

Yeah, its a total mystery to me. Just when you think that when you custom order you KNOW what is going to show up. Haha

Yep, sounds like a phone call to the dealer and/or the Concierge is in order. Is that what it said in the Vehicle Details part of your status emails? Lol, I am going to double check mine right now.

I have called my dealer and they called their rep at Lincoln and they said they had no idea why it said that on the window sticker and it will be the correct grill.  We shall see.

When you go to the accessories section on tge tracking page it calls it something like body colored grille w lower chrome accent ??‍♀️  It’s very confusing.

There is a white black label going to a dealership near ATL that has the same monochromatic grille listed but no special edition package. However the date on that window sticker is 3/17/22 so perhaps they changed the wording w recent builds. My date shows 3/15/22 but still shows in production. I assume it will be in production for a while ?

Odd. My dealer has some BLs on order on their site. They all say "Grill-Chrome Mesh" on the stickers. Where does it show that on your sticker?

It shows the chrome mesh as standard and then monochromatic in the options. Sorry for the red circles. It was a screen shot I had sent my salesman and was saved on my phone already. HahaE3A27237-E244-41A9-B725-33C804F052E5.thumb.jpeg.fe162bb393e8633a0c40b1c108c26fe3.jpeg

Hi tobe. Yes. The "Standard Equipment Included At No Extra Charge" for a trim level is listed on the window sticker in that top box. Then optional additions are listed below.

So in the case of this particular Navigator Black Label, the standard equipment grille is a "Grille-Chrome Mesh". However, in the case of this particular order, it has the optional "Monochromatic Grille". So it will have a "Monochromatic Grille" (assuming no odd window sticker error...lol).

    Good luck.

I have a black label in production. It has the monochromatic grille listed on my window sticker. I did not order a monochromatic nor is it an option on a black label. I also have a black one ordered which eliminates the special edition package. My salesman swears that according to the Lincoln rep its the standard black label grill.  We’ll see when it finally comes in I suppose.

Was it mentioned somewhere on this forum that window stickers outlined in green are custom orders from customers, not dealer stock? I just checked Fair Oaks, where I ordered my 2022 from, and they have at least one Nav with a window sticker that is outlined in green. Seems odd they would post that.

I have no idea if its only for custom orders, but my window sticker is green so it makes sense

Worst case scenario, grills can be swapped.

Very true. I’m just really confused bc monochromatic package isn’t an available option on a black label and the special edition package isn’t available on a black vehicle. I did find a window sticker from a black label black in color thats in transit and it states “Black Label SP grille” which is what my order sheet calls it also so that confused me even more. Oh well. Just happy its in production at this point.
