  1. Hahahaha.... That is absolutely outstanding. Thank you for that!
  2. I'm trying to make heads or tails on some part numbers and thought this would be a good place to try getting some help. A little backstory: I bought a Used 2015 GT Premium last year that had the Premier trim package installed and really liked it. The 15 unfortunately had a huge tree branch fall on it and it was totalled. :( Fast forward 3 months or so, I found a 2016 GT Premium but it doesn't have the premier package. I didn't think it would bother me much but quite honestly... I'm finding myself missing that small detail quite a bit. I'd like to replace the interior door trim and the center console lid, (I'm not going to mess with the dash) to get the soft touch surfaces back. I've checked out the https://parts.ford.com/ website and found several different options. Trouble is, I can't figure out which one is which. Does anyone know (or know how to find out) what that part number might be? Thanks in advance for any help I can get here.
  3. Thanks YT90SC. Not afraid of hog rings or pliers so I'll likely do it on my own.
  4. Hey guys, The wife's 2017 Edge sport is having some trouble with the Passenger side heated seat (For clarification, this is the heated and cooled seat) which doesn't seem to be heating. I went to the dealer to have it looked at and the tech told me the heating element needed to be replaced. Now I've been poking around here on Blue oval trying to see what other people have done to try and resolve the problem and it seems strange to me that the seats don't have a heating element, but rather a blower to heat the seats. These guys wanted to charge me $1100 to replace the seat heating element which to me seems ludicrous. They hit me for $230 on the Diagnosis, but man... I don't know whether someone is trying to get a pocket of cash out of me or what... I'm finding the fan blower for $110 Can someone help me to understand exactly how the seat is heated and what parts I need to possibly replace? I can see everything under the seat and if I remove it this doesn't seem that hard. Then again, it seems things always start that way, don't they??
