  1. I can’t even imagine getting our brand new trucks home… wife (or someone) watches the clearance…. You’re all good, pull it in! Then…scratch right on the top of the roof from that connecting arm. Ouch.
  2. This link might help you… great video showing some dimensions. This is on a tremor model, so I would assume it sits 1-2” taller than a stock f250. Hope this helps! Also pay attention to the arm connecting to the door, some guys have had to trim them because this can actually be lower than the garage door itself. https://youtu.be/6aO2cj27avo
  3. Great info! Sorry I missed this. Thanks for the help!
  4. I should have clarified… I gave them a deposit the day of ordering and Ford marketing has verified they see the order in the system. Its more of an allocation question than anything. Do retail orders and dealer stock orders pull from the same allocation that a dealer has available? Or are retail “custom” orders somehow exempt? I have a sinking feeling they are lying about their allocation possibly because they are such a small dealer? Smaller volume may mean less super duty allocation? Just speculation. microchip shortages and delays, I can deal with all day long. Lying and possibly getting a run around from my dealer, not so much.
  5. My apologies in advance if this has already been covered… Short story I ordered a 22 f250 from my local dealer (small Ford dealer in AZ). I dealt with a newer sales guy at the time I ordered. Since some people were getting scheduled dates last Thursday I gave him a call to check on mine. No order yet, still sitting there. I’m not in panic mode, missed the first round of scheduling, no big deal. Here is my concern… I asked him if they had the proper amount of allocations to get my order filled and his response was that retail orders do not need allocation, only dealer stock orders. He said he verified this with the sales manager. Is this correct? Any help is appreciated!
  6. Amen to that! I have learned a ton of information from ice on this forum. Thanks for all your help.
  7. sounds like all trucks waiting on/ affected by the chip shortage now show this as a delivery date. to quote ice capades in a different section of this forum “Order tracker went from 5/30-6/5 TO OCTOBER 31,2021... Produced vehicles being held for the microchip issue will now show a "Micro Chip At Plant On Hold" status in Vehicle Visibility. I believe that Ford is using 10/31/2021 as a default ETA for the affected units pending resolution or updated information on microchip availability for the affected vehicle. “ hope this helps!
  8. Well said Radio! Happy to hear someone, like myself, with an optimistic outlook with the current situation. I agree with you on you’re breakdown of these timelines. We all know things can change and dates can get pushed, but I’m seriously doubting the doom and gloom 30 week order-delivery. ice capades- we all appreciate your updates on this fluid situation. have a great weekend everyone!
  9. I agree, southern AZ here as well and black doesn’t seem to be any worse than any other interior color vehicle I have/had. Good luck with your order! 22’s look like they are going to have great interiors!
