Hey; I got a 2018 Ford edge that had a minor front collision on the front left drivers side. Mostly cosmetic damage. The collision ripped the plastic wiring harness connector out of the transmission. when I got the car the transmission was in limp mode and could run and crawl around. Then when I found the broken wiring connector I disconnected the battery but I believe I was to late because now it wont start and says the Transmission is not in park and starts flashing and wont turn off by push button start. I even replaced the connector plate inside the end of the transmission and brand new engine wiring harness and it does the same. Now I am stuck on what electronic item is causing this problem.
Thanks!
