My truck was built May 24th and is still awaiting to be shipped. The tracking website says the truck would be shipped in a few days to one week. Now it’s been 2 weeks.
Window sticker says shipping via convoy.
Is this typical lately?
Original ordered November 11th so this has been a long wait.
Can people let me know how long their truck took to ship once built? Thanks.
Built Feb 5, shipped 9-12, arrived in Illinois 15, arrived in Vancouver BC Feb 23. Took delivery March 2. Less than a month from build to delivery.

You have a contract to buy A vehicle but not THAT vehicle because the Vin number wasn’t available when you placed the order.Even so in a lawsuit you’re only allowed to recover damages and that’s hard to prove since you can go buy it somewhere else.
In that case every retail order could be sold to anyone the dealer wished. I know they would have to answer to Ford but not very ethical, IMHO.

Not true. The dealer can sell it to anybody, but they will have to explain to Ford why the vehicle was sold to someone else.
I guess the laws are different in the US. In Canada a deposit secures the sale.

If you have a confirmed order from Ford, the truck is yours. The dealer can only sell it to someone else if you cancelled the order. I would talk to your dealer and let them know you will be away and will call them when you get back. As far as the dealer letting other customers demo your truck, I wouldn't worry about it. My dealer wouldn't even unlock other customers ordered trucks. I could just snoop a the exterior. I f you trust your dealer there shouldn't be an issue.

Beautiful truck....love the 2 tone. There should be a sticker in the driver's door showing exactly which springs you have.....at least that is where I have seen it before.
I was going by the build spec from the dealer which was way off. The truck has 4800 LB springs on the front. Which makes sense as the camper package increases the springs one up from standard, depending on the configuration of the truck.

Owners manual states 1000 miles or 1600 KM's.

Does anyone here have a 2022 CCSB F250 4x4 with 7.3 has engine and camper package? This is what I ordered and I am curious on which front springs it will have. I have read a bunch of posts here and still not sure what to expect. I am guessing either 5200 or 5600 springs. I saw one on the lot that had both camper pkg and snow plow prep pkg and it had 5600 springs; it was tall, hoping mine will be a little lower. I am wanting the truck as low as possible for better clearance for my fifth wheel. Thanks.
Here's my 22' 250 4x4 CCSB with 7.3 and camper package. It does ride high but also fairly level front to back. I believe it has 5600 springs on the front. Front springs are rated at 6000Lbs.

Even being built next week it could be well into May or early June before it arrives. I had hoped for Feb/Mar delivery, so we have already cancelled our camping plans across country this summer. Don't want to book campgrounds until the truck actually arrives.
Good luck getting scheduled and a quick delivery.
Hey Rangers, my 250 was built Feb 5 and arrived in Vancouver Feb 24. I took delivery Mar 3. So as long as CP rail keeps operating, you should have your truck early to mid April.

For those that have already received their trucks…how long did your truck sit in the Louisville Rail Yard prior to movement?
Not 100% certain, but I'd say less than a week. It was in production Feb 5 and then in Illinois on the 15th.

I’d like to see the tracking sites work for Canadian vehicles.
Agree! The Canadian vehicle tracker hasn't worked once for me!

I placed my order on 1/20 for a ‘22 expedition limited with 302a package. I’ve seen people comment that they have there vin and build date who’s orders where confirmed either the same date or after mine. Does anyone know how ford selects builds to be scheduled? My order was nothing fancy.
Give this a read. It's a few years old but is still relevant.

Back when the order spread sheet was working the 2 colors most chosed were rapid red and anti matter. Race red was the least chosen. I had a stone gray and it was the easiest color to keep clean I ever owned.
I was leaning towards the Stone Gray, but I couldn't find a truck locally that I could see the color. When I was at the dealer I came across a Rapid Red with the Stone gray two tone and it sold me!

No plans to upgrade the camper , but likely take it cross county and through the Rockies. The diesel would be nice, but still trying to justify the extra cost?
Watch this You Tube video. You will not have any trouble towing your trailer with the 7.3 in the Rockies.

Rapid red was my choice as well. Struggled between Stone gray and RR, compromised with RR and SG as the two tone. SG was getting to close to old man gold! I don't want to be called old man yet, even though 60 is poking me in the back!

I have a 22 250 Lariat, 7.3 18" wheels and 3.55 ratio diff. Absolutely love this truck. Towing a 25', 7000Lb trailer it performs superbly and the ten speed trans is excellent. I got the camper package, which adds rear overload spring and rear sway bar, front springs were already at the max, so no change there. You will definitely feel a stiffer ride than your 150, but you are going from a half ton to 3/4 ton, so that is to be expected. Towing I get 10.5 mpg, 15 mpg empty, of course how hard you push the skinny pedal will affect your numbers.
