Does anyone have fords 32K fifth wheel hitch?
Yes, I have the Ford 32K hitch (Reese) in our F450. Previous truck was F350 short bed with slider that we NEVER needed to move. Just had keep track of cab clearance when making a sharp turn. Had the F350 for 12 years, never a problem. 32K hitch is heavy but don't use the truck for much other than towing, so hitch stays in. One important thing to note- the hitch was already in the puks when we took delivery, BUT, nothing was tightened to spec. So be sure to check your factory installed hitches before towing!

Our F450 came with the fabric pouch with everything in it. Bought from Dave Pirro Ford in Skaneateles NY.

Sorry, I didn't make the title, I just posted on the thread that was already about recalls. I'm not sure how to change the title. My bad.

Got the wiper arm recall notice in the mail last week so I called the dealer and they said they'd order the parts and put me on the list. Today the dealer called to say that Ford was only replacing the wiper arms IF they weren't working properly!? Really? So I guess you just hope that they don't break/malfunction when you're driving in the rain. Or maybe only drive on sunny days. Anybody else get this info from your dealer?

I have requested an OEM replacement and it has been approved by insurance. Now the wait begins for the windshield! Everything is in short supply. Thanks for the replies.

Thank you!

Our 2022 F450 has a cracked windshield only 3 months after taking delivery. I am being told by Safelite that they are having trouble finding a 2022 windshield. I believe that the 2021 windshield is the same, as body style didn't change. Can anyone verify that for me please? Don't know how it cracked, got in it one day and the crack was there. Just what I needed! Thanks

@cyberdman is there a way for us to get the rail info / track the rail without having to ask you? I'm sure you're probably pretty tired of it!
It's shipped, just wanted to see if I could follow along the journey by rail.
Thanks.

Call your dealer- they can get it off the VVR and then do a search on this forum for the phone # and procedure for getting CSX information. It works pretty good!

Glad you folks got rear flaps from the factory. On the build sheet/order guide I was given by our dealer it clearly said rear mud flaps and rear wheel well liners N/A on F450 but fronts were available. Maybe I missed something, but I looked at those order guides alot and read every line. I got the factory front ones and ordered/installed Duraflaps on the rear. Oh well, the Duraflaps are pretty nice anyway. Too late now.

Do any of you use a bed cover w a 5th wheel hitch? I'm thinking the roll up kind would be best so that it's easy to pull up and maximize room while towing but I'd love to have something covering it when I'm not towing....
I installed a Truxedo Truxtport soft roll up cover on ours. We had one on 2 previous trucks and it was 12 years old and still looked like new when we got rid of it. Nothing fancy, but works well for us.

Not an option on our plain ole XLT. Just the front ones and they are a little small but we'll see how good they work before I change them out. The Duraflaps came in and they are quite "substantial" in size and construction. I will get them on it this weekend.

I'm pretty sure that little yellow sticker in the corner of the windshield means it can't be delivered to buyer due to missing parts? .........Just kidding! Now you can relax knowing it's FINALLY HERE! Looks good!

I feel sorry for you two. I guess I lucked out and was able to bring ours home yesterday. I see now no more scheduling for trucks with 5th wheel hitch, spray in liner and something else. Ours has both hitch and bedliner- I'm breathing a sigh of relief right now! This is getting crazy. Good luck to both of you. I'm thinking of you and hoping you get your trucks SOON!

Just got home with our 22 F450 and I'll say the ride was very nice! I expected it to be a bouncy, rough ride but it was anything but that. A very pleasant surprise, I would say it rides better than our 2012 F350 that we had previous to this truck.

I know, I was chatting with him.... We ordered from competing area dealerships, but maybe they're on the same truck heading our way. ? I had a dream several weeks ago that the delivered date on the tracker said 8/31 (yes, I was dreaming about the truck being delivered.... I have serious issues ???). I guess we'll see if my premonition becomes true.
Maybe you'll get a surprise call tomorrow! Fingers crossed for you!
LOL you dream about delivery- I have nightmares over NOT getting it! Still no word from dealer!

I'm pretty sure you can get factory rear flaps on a F350, just not on a F450 for some crazy reason.

Do you not like the "factory" installed mud flaps?
Not available on rear from factory on a F450. Only front ones available and I'm not sure I'm going to like them. From what I've seen they're pretty small.

Oh man.... Yours was giving me hope that we would see ours soon! I haven't even bothered asking the dealer for the tracking info. I'm just "patiently" waiting for a call. ?
Actually, yours might have been on a train to Lordstown Ohio, I know F350mike's truck was on a train that went there and he is expecting his to arrive this week to the dealer in Amherst. I'm kind of im-patiently waiting for a call from our dealer. ?

Lucky you! Congratulations! As I said in above post, ours was unloaded from the rail-car on Monday 175 miles from our dealer and it still hasn't made it there. I could have transported it myself if they would let me. Enjoy your new truck!

I believe there is such a thing as premium diesel. It supposedly has higher cetane levels and lubricants in it. Another way to get us to spend more at the pump- as if it wasn't bad enough now!
