Sorry I didn’t catch your mentioning ALL options the first time.
If the order is wrong, can’t be corrected, and your truck comes without options you want, take it anyway and reorder a 23, insist it gets moved to front on 23 orders. Then, either keep it if that’s ok or trade it back when reordered 23 comes in.
Fwiw, 23 Order Bank opens in about a month…make the dealership give you a deal if they screwed it up, and ask for a 22 to 23 PCO.
I’ll be on the phone with dealer as soon as they open. Probably good I won’t be in town tomorrow incase it’s bad news.
If my options aren’t in this truck and it’s to late for them to correct it, I’ll absolutely be driving a 22 until they can get my order right on a 23.
This process has been absolutely awful!!!!

Finally after almost 17 months and dropping AS, I got the “in production” notification on Friday.
The window sticker didn’t show until this morning, however, how concerned should I be that it doesn’t show any of my options, NONE. Doesn’t show a BS $300 credit for the multi contour seat removal.
I’m nervous that’s it’s wrong and it’s to late, it’s scheduled for the week of the September 12th.
I’m hoping the window sticker is just wrong!!!!

I finally gave in.
Ordered F450 Platinum on 4/28/21After 16 months and much thought and agony, I decided to drop AS to give my truck a chance to get built.
Dropped AS on 8/16
8/17 got 01
8/18 got VIN and build date
None the less, I’m super excited!!

Talked to my dealer today and was told the only thing holding up my F450 Platinum is AS, which doesn’t make any sense as I’ve seen so many Lariat’s get build with it.
He also told me that I’ll never get a 22, it’ll be pushed to a 23 and even then the AS will hold me up. I just don’t get. Told him I found 2 Limited’s being delivered in Dutchess County NY and 1 Platinum in NJ.
He told me Limited’s come standard with AS, so I told him to move me to a Limited.
15 months and counting, I just don’t understand Ford’s thinking.

Apparently Ford doesn’t care about fulfilling all the unbuilt orders out there.

Just had it out with my dealer as I’m 14 months out as of the 28th of this month on my F450 Platinum.They told me I was priority 1-0, I asked if that was a 10, because I was a 2 and he said no a 1-0 is the highest level of priority.
They told me they just aren’t building Higher level truck

While I never actually checked that, I had to provide my drivers license shortly after my order so my dealer could send it to Ford to prove it was a retail/COVP order and not for dealer stock.

Really frustrating as my dealer has the same truck and it’s 2 vin numbers higher and it’s getting delivered and I am still waiting. I only have rapid cab heater, front liners, trailer cam, and now no MS in the seats that’s the only difference the the other truck. Frustrating it is but I’ll wait for it. I sure hope shipping gets squared away by then so it’s not sitting in a rail yard for weeks.

13 months and counting on my F450 Platinum
I spoke to the sales manager the other day and there is actually 1 truck 3 days older than mine, a F150 KR, which leads me to believe my dealer has an allocation issue with getting higher trim level trucks.
Ford is really failing it’s customers by not reaching out to us and giving us answers.

Enough is enoughI’m convinced I’ll never get a truck this year and if by some miracle it does get built, it’ll be a Platinum “almost” with the MC seats being removed by Ford.

Never got order confirmation from Ford, think dealer messed it up. I have confirmed with regional rep they have my order.
Beyond frustration at this point! No one can give me an answer, not the dealer, not the regional rep, no one!!!
Good luck maybe someday we’ll get ours!As a joke I text my salesman a Happy Anniversary, didn’t get much of a laugh!!!

I agree, not telling a customer anything other than you are a priority 2, unscheduled, clean is no answer especially when you ordered 4/28/21. Ordered F450 Platinum w/ AS and took out bed liner, yet I still see other trucks being built with AS. Does anyone know what Ford plans to do with 2022 orders? Are they going to build all 2022 orders, or are the unscheduled / unbuilt going to die in order processing? Bottom line Ford needs to step up and give us some answers !!

Good for you Frog_Legs, I’m so jealous. Ordered my F450 Platinum 4/28 and haven’t heard a thing, other than my dealer telling me it hasn’t been scheduled and they have any other info. I removed factory Bed liner but kept AS, 2 weeks ago. Not sure what the build dates are for scheduling but, looks like no camping this year?. I don’t believe AS is the hold up like Ford is claiming, had two friends order F450’s in September both with AS and they are both built. Has to be something with trim level

I know of two F450 Lariat trucks built with AS. They both ordered in September 2021.

I would think that too, but my friends F450 also has adaptive steering and is being built the of 2/14 and he ordered almost 5 months after me. Ford says my truck has no commodities issues or holds. Super frustrating to have been waiting 10 months

20022 F 450 Platinum ordered 4/28/21
So after finally receiving my window sticker on Sunday 9/11/22 and discovering none of my ordered options were on it, and my truck scheduled to be built the week of 9/22, I contacted the dealer on Monday 9/12/22. I was told the General Manager was not in but they would contact him.
That Monday, I was assured the truck was ordered correctly.
On Tuesday 9/13/22 still no answers and was told the reps were on a plain to Vegas for a conference.
On Thursday the GM said they were trying to get the Snow plow prep, roof and FX4 added to the build. I asked about all the other options and was told if they get 1 they’ll be able to get them all.
A glimmer of hope.
Friday 9/16, my salesman and GM called me and I was told my truck would be built WITHOUT any of my options, not a single one.
During that conversation my salesman and the GM send me window stickers for a Platinum and a Limited and told me they could get their hands on one of them for me from a good customer who has them on order. I was also told the trucks are to be built in November.
My issue amongst many, but for these trucks, the prices are at the new pricing rates, about $4000 more than they were when I ordered.
Looks like still have to fight to get my / a truck for the prices they were when I ordered. I think that is only fair, as none of this is my fault.
Any thoughts?
