Anyone know what it means that my truck went to a “body company” for 11 days? Is that the spray in bed liner? Also very confused why it’s now going to take 47 days in transit. My original delivery date was 11/1, then 11/15, then 11/16, now 12/18

The same thing happened to mine. Ford said my truck shipped on 10/12 but it sat at ramp 8P in Shelbyville until 11/9 (nine days after my eta delivery date) until it was actually put on a rail car headed to NC. My dealer told me today that they still have a number of trucks stuck in Shelbyville. Good luck!

  2. My dealer texted me today to let me know my truck was finally DELIVERED!!! I go pick it up on Friday. I can't wait.

Carbonized Gray F350 XLT 7.3L CCSB 4.30 rear axle, fog lamps, running boards, 40/20/40 console, 5th wheel prep, spray in bed liner & camper package.

    Ordered: 7/5

    Confirmed: 7/5

    VIN received: 8/12

    Build: 10/11

    Shipped: 10/12

    Delivered: 11/16

Yeah this appears to be one very large boat with people who have been left, how can we can we say this delicately..without much in the way of information regarding their orders or what they should do to place an order that can be built.  I honestly thought my March order would get built soon and that I would have a truck by August. Now it could be December if the Thanksgiving holiday gets in the way.

I just checked the Mach E (and Ford) tracker and it looks like Ford finally updated my delivery ETA. Of course, Ford didn't generate any sort of email informing me of the change. Originally it was estimated for delivery by 10/31 and now it's showing as 11/22.

My dealer confirmed my truck is sitting at the ramp in VA waiting to be loaded on a carrier for delivery so hopefully Ford's delivery estimate is a little more accurate than it was last time.

What was your transit time based on the Mach E tracker?

Transit time was 15 days to NC with a delivery window of 10/25 - 10/31. I'm now 15 days past due and the truck is still in VA.

Super frustrating since most other trucks going to NC were delivered in 9 days from when they shipped.

Agreed. Maybe try calling Ford marketing?

Ford Marketing can't help. They'll just refer you to your dealer. My truck shipped 10/12 and sat in KY for 27 days before it ever got put on a rail car. Ford Marketing wouldn't give me anything other than the status and ETA delivery week which I already had via the emails and Mach E tracker. It's now sitting in VA waiting to be put on a carrier to my dealership.

Anyone having issues with shipping?  Ford tracker shows the truck was built and released 10/29/21.  Hasn't shipped as of 11/12/21, but estimated end date is 11/13/21.  Mach E shows same.  Dealer is telling me that it shows them the same and they do not know what the hold up is.  I'm just trying to figure it out.

My truck was released on 10/11 and shipped on 10/12 with an estimated delivery of 10/25 - 10/31. But it ended up sitting in Shelbyville, KY with no railcar info or movement until 11/9. It's now in VA somewhere but Ford never updated the delivery ETA so when it will arrive is anyone's guess. It's super frustrating but you're definitely not the only one getting hit with shipping delays.

I got the VVR from my sales manager with the railcar number and called Norfolk Southern a couple of times. I got a super helpful lady who gave me a ton of info. It sat in KY for a while too before being shipped, but once it was on the move it didn't take long. My truck was unloaded in less than 3 hours once it got to the yard. The problem in my case is the time from the yard to the dealer. No idea how to track that or who to call for info. SM told me he sometimes gets a day notice when shipments come in but not always.

This is certainly a first world problem but it is causing problems at the dealers as well. I hope they get a fix to it soon. I started this process last November looking for a truck. I couldn't find the right one so I delayed a bit to get a 22. I thought by ordering it as soon a possible that would help. Originally they were to be starting production in June. I honestly expected to have my truck before August. Now I don't know when I will get it.

I've asked my dealer repeatedly for the railcar number but he insists he doesn't have it. I've even sent him screenshots of where he can find it (from a thread on the FTE forums) but he said that's not what he sees. Honestly, I expected delays during the scheduling and build process so that part of the process wasn't that bad. But I never expected shipping to be as much of a pain as it has been. Based on the spreadsheet on FTE forums most trucks going to NC made it in about 9 days. But of course I'm not that lucky. And not having any way to track the truck just makes it worse. The dealer told me they're waiting on 4 trucks that are past their due date and that "we should see it any day now". But he's been saying that for about 3 weeks now. So who knows...

I feel your pain. I finally got built after ordering in March. 6.7 F250 Platinum. Dropped AS in July and got nowhere till October. Now that I am built shipping is taking it's sweet time. 30 days today being shipped to north Alabama. Been sitting at a rail yard in Atlanta since the 25th along with 27 other cars and trucks for the same dealer. Ford estimated 18 days to ship but I guess I shouldn't be surprised that they can't get that correct either.

At least I'm not the only one. Ford estimated a 15 day delivery to NC. Today is day 28 and it's still not here. The last update I got was that it was still sitting in KY.

Anyone else seeing shipping delays? Were now 5 days past the estimated delivery date with no truck. OH and my dealer even put my truck up on their website to sell it. Great people... although I dont think anyones buying an F-250 for 116k!

Yes. My truck was shipped 10/12 with an estimated delivery of 10/25 - 10/31 to NC. 6 days past the delivery window and still no truck. What's more unnerving is that the tracking is showing it's still at a ramp in KY. The dealer said they have 3 other trucks that are past their delivery window that they're still waiting on. So yeah...I'm not expecting to see it any time soon.

I hope ice-capades can see this, but my question is referring to scheduling as well. So, I have a "build date of 11-13-21 (i think) would this effect my build date? I have been pushed back 3 times.

It also says, "THIS INFORMATION APPLIES TO UNSCHEDULED ORDERS ONLY." so that should only affect unscheduled orders. If you have a build date already yours should be good assuming you don't get hit with commodity issues.

Uggh. Salesman called today and it got confusing. He tells me I have to come in and sign a new purchase agreement. I asked if this would change my order or be new and he said it is new but I won’t lose my place. What is going on here? Ford says my order is in. This is confusing. I understand that I am signing a form that what I am ordering is to my specs but really. Can’t you just amend it and send me the email? I have to go in?

I changed my order a month after placing it (changed 2wd to 4wd) and I did have to sign a new order document which also changed my order date. But the dealer was able to send the doc over email which I then signed, scanned and emailed back. So I don't see why you should have to go into the dealership in person to make the change.

Are you on the spreadsheet over on that forum? Where ya located? I'm in PA and pending my truck gets built and shipped by middle of next week I'd like to think I'll have it by beginning of November

Yes, I'm on the spreadsheet under the same username as here. My info hasn't updated yet but the spreadsheet tends to take a few hours to pickup changes. I'm located in NC and I'm assuming my delivery date may be estimated that far off because I have a bed liner and 5th wheel prep that needs to be done. I hear it can take a few days to get those items wrapped up once the actual truck production takes place.

Mine has a build week of this week (10/11) and mine was sent to plant on the 7th and thats when my window sticker was available....based on the spreadsheet on the FTE forum, i'm not expecting mine to get built til the end of the week or the weekend. Seems they are running about 8-10 days to build after being sent to the plant. Fingers crossed this happens as I was originally told I actually had a build day of 10/11. Best of luck to you and I would imagine you'll get your window sticker later this week!

That seems like a realistic expectation. I had a build week of 10/4, truck was sent to plant on 9/29 and the Mach E tracker just updated with a production date of 10/10 and ETA delivery of 11/4.

I really hope it doesn't take that long to arrive, though.

It will come... as I said on another quote, mine was to be built week of 9/27 sent to Plant 9/24.... built on 10/5 which is the following week.... and still not in status as "built" yet because of Bed cover, console safe, and such.... once that is done then it will change in the tracker... be patient as hard as that is to actually be. Your truck is being built... it just may take some extra days. Good luck and hope you hear something sooner rather than later

Thanks for your insight. Considering how long I've waited to get into production I didn't think it would be this difficult waiting to get to "built" status.

And thanks for answering my next question - I was wondering if it would move to "Built" before or after the accessories were added (bed liner and 5th wheel prep for me).

Sounds like I still have a lot of waiting to do. :(
