  1. Moved my Viair 450c compressor  from the old ride along with the 4 gal air tank and horns. Plenty of air for horns, have used it to air tires and run nailer on a couple projects.

Tank mounted on passenger  side between  can and rear wheel, horns on drivers side.

Compressor  mounted in bed, front right side and air chuck in bed on right rear. Protected from the weather with bed cover.

Very nice.  Is that one of the ones that you can lock in place at any position on the track? I am trying to decide what to get and not interfere with my 5th wheel.

This is the MXT series, latches in 3 positions. I think the A series has multiple locking positions.

  3. Fedex showed up today with the bed cover. Cancelled thefactory one as it was a hold up item. We went with Roll n Lock again. Had one on the last truck, 10 years, no issues. Took about 2 hours to install. New cover d I es not lock to tailgate like the old one. I like that new feature.

first push to 2/28, then 3/7, then 3/14, then 3/21 and for now it's 3/28!

I wont see this thing till frickin May!!!! My patience is JUST starting to run a little thin!!

    Just sayin.....

Hang in there, mine was ordered July 21st. Just picked it up March 7th. Long wait but I have to say it was worth the wait.

What tonneau cover we going with these days? The truck will be more or less a pavement queen, with limited towing and or 5th wheel use. I haven't had a tonneau cover on a truck in the last 15 years, obviously the tech/market has changed since then.

Quality/UV protection/Rain & Snow protection are high on the list. From casual research I have looked at retrax, BAK, roll and lock and diamond back.

Leaning toward retractable style over the tri folds, the diamond back HD looks interesting but looks like it could be a pain in the ass as well.

    Thoughts?

I just ordered a Roll n Lock. My last truck had one, 10yr and no issues.

I did look at retrax But asked them how to clear the drain hoses if debris clog them. Was told you have to unbolt the unit to slide the whole thing back to clean them.

The Roll n Lock you just open the roll cover and you can access them.

Sox3, that is a beautiful truck, congratulations.  I have the same color combo and KR build F350 with 6.7L on order except I didn't opt for the chrome package so mirror caps and door handles are body color and the wheels have the honeycomb like shape with painted pockets like the pictures in my signature.  Mine is scheduled to be built week of 3/21 after 5 bumps totaling six weeks of delays.  That Antimatter blue has been on my mind ever since I ordered mine and I notice that color on many other cars and trucks across every possible brand you can name.  There's a Nissan Frontier at my work that is the exact same color and is gorgeous to me but does have the same tendency to appear black at certain angles and lighting conditions.  Good luck...&*&Toolman

    Thank you,

We had added the chrome package  after we ordered. I put both builds up on the Ford site with the 360 view. Wife and I decided to add it after looking at both. Had also heard the front bumpers get paint chips. Last truck had chrome package and bumper held up well.

I liked the painted wheels though.
