Excellent, I am so glad it finally made it and you have it.  Thanks for sharing.  It looks awesome - especially in that antimatter blue!!!  Enjoy your new toy.

It’s actually Atlas Blue and I think it’s best color offered this year! Thanks again!

I think this is 2 fold also, it will keep used truck/trad values high.  Im probably going to sell my 22 and order a 23(once i see how the 23s look).

This is where they will need to strike a balance.  Ford in in the business of selling new vehicles, not used.  They don't want to have to compete with the used market.

The prices you mention are why I was ordering new and selling my 2001 Chevy for more than I paid for it.  With the fleet discount I would save a lot. But the longer it takes and the more I read on this group I'm betting my truck will never be built because it is a cheap fleet order. So, 1/2 price is a little low, but I do think the truck market will return to pre-covid conditions in two years or so. With new brakes and some steering components my old Chevy will last till then.

I don't believe truck prices will ever go back to where they were.  The days of getting $10K off sticker are gone. The mfg have learned they can build less trucks and charge more to make the same, or more, money.  GM has already aligned their new business model with this thought process and the others will follow soon. They all want you to order instead of buying off the lot.  You will still be able to, but you'll pay for it.

Fleet Order Buyers.. After 8 months of waiting and being "Clean/Unscheduled", I gave up yesterday. I cancelled my order and got my deposit back. If I had known in June that Fleet orders ran behind retail orders, I would have never placed it. My order was M1 (1st week in Dec) when I placed it and here it is 2 months past that and still not scheduled. So, I am spending $1,800 on my 2001 Chevy and plan to drive it another year or two until the truck market adjusts. Then I'll buy one of your retail order trade-ins for half of what you paid for it. Thanks in advance!  And good luck to those Fleet buyers still waiting to be scheduled.

If I were you, I'd not cancel.  Drive your Chevy until it comes in.  Don't think for a minute that your dealer cancelled the order; they will still take delivery and sell it on the lot for well over MSRP.

  5. Half of what we paid? ? unlikely. I traded my 2019 for $8K more than I paid and just sold my 2021 for $12K more than I paid. I feel your frustration, I’ve been waiting for my 2022 since the summer, but you should’ve done your research  about fleet orders. I have a Lightning on Fleet order and I’m just gonna try and forget I ordered it and be surprised if it ever shows up.

You can try to pull your window sticker. It becomes available when your vehicle is "sent to plant" which is typically about a week before it goes into production. If you get a window sticker it means ford is still planning on building your truck very soon.

I’ve had a window sticker since before Christmas and it still hasn’t been built according to the website.

If you signed an order agreement with the price and paid a deposit that is a legal binding sale agreement.

I had the same (unfounded) fear as well that somehow they would try sabotage the deal at the final hour, but it was certainly not the case in my experience, Price never even came up during delivery, just signed the finance paperwork which had all the same numbers on it that I agreed to originally. My truck was even on their website for awhile with a 20k market adjustment ?.

The dealer needs to sign it; not just you.

If you have the car number you can call the automated 800 number and input the car number to get the last location or the current location of the train.

I found a phone number in an old post and tried that but the information does not seem to be current. It says the rail car is empty in California as of October.
