I usually replace the rear dif fluid at 1k-2k miles and it usually looks worse than subsequent 30k fluid replacements.

I like the idea of changing the fluid after 500-1000, think I will do that also.
And, agree that the manual recommendations are there for a reason. Hard to complain if something breaks if you don't follow the recommendations IMHO.

From what I hear your dealer can but they have to go through their central Ford contact to do it. I’m nervous about doing this because I’ve got a signed price agreement that doesn’t include any of the mark ups dealers are now adding when the trucks arrive. I’m afraid if I change anything that takes any effort in their part they will want to rework the signed deal. I’m not going to ask them to do anything until the end of February. Give Ford another 8-9 weeks to schedule me. As long as I have a truck to hook to my trailer in April, I’m good.

Yeah, if I had it alll to do over again, I’d probably do the same. Bed line and cover has been a hold up also. Live and learn.

Glad to hear this. Thank you! I was wanting truck to come with everything I wanted so I didn’t have to do much once it gets here. Add a ranch hand grill guard and it’s all done.

So I’m waiting like everyone else. I know about the spray in liner and tonneau cover problems but what about the console safe? I ordered mine with the console safe. Are people having problems with those also or are there trucks coming in successfully with safes in them???

I think that is why so many are frustrated. That is a whole month after I placed my order. I’m happy for you but it’s hard to understand the order in which they are selecting.

I literally changed my order to drop the bedliner and side steps and I added lariat ultimate and leds. I was scheduled 2 weeks after I dropped the bedliner. I also pushed the dealer to change the order. I kept my priority 02 but it was done at a regional level after they had me approve the new specs. My sales rep said they had to jump through hoops and I figured it was just him being hyperbolic. Seems like he wasn’t kidding. If you pester them they might change your order. I am scheduled for Jan 17 right now. I kept the 5th wheel prep but I was told that the bedliner was a big hold up.
Thank you for this. For now I think I’m going to leave it alone. I really would like it to come from the factory with the bed liner and bed cover already installed. If I’ve not been scheduled by mid February though, my tune may change. I’m also kind of hoping that the chip thing will correct itself and the glut of trucks sitting at the Kentucky speedway will get dumped on the market. I would be fine with a great priced 2021 also. ? -

What’s the point of waiting 3-4 months at 02 when taking off an item will get scheduled much faster. Unless you absolutely must have that item, i didn’t, it was a nice to have, nothing more.
Was yours scheduled quickly after that then? If so, I’m going to call them back and see what they say about this. Thank you.

Hopefully at some point Ford will just decide to remove the liner from the order and schedule it or at least give the dealer the option to do it. My guess is there are lots of folks in the same boat as I am.

Ordered 2022 F250 XLT in August. Was excited when my truck went to priority 02. Spoke with my guy at the dealership the end of last week however and he told me that my truck may never get built because of me including spray in bed liner and hard Toneau cover on my order. I asked him to delete them from the order and he can not because of the priority 02 setting. Is it really possible that I'm just stuck now and it won't get built??? My guy does seem to know what he's talking about but it just doesn't seem right.

Holy cow, that is awesome! I ordered in August. If I could just go back in time and choose to NOT INCLUDE that gosh darn tonneau cover and spray in bed liner. I'm happy for you but it so sucks to have to wait because of the supply chain. My guy at the dealership even told me it might not get built at all because of it and because I'm at priority 02 I can't even take it off now. Ugh!

Ordered by 250 XLT 08/10. Finished the camping season with my 2012 F-150 Super Crew Eco-Boost. Only had 30,000 miles. Did REALLY well selling it. Now just waiting on the new one. Just needs to be here before April. :c) With the current problems, think that might be pushing it. Hahaha.

I love Ford vehicles. Currently just have a Ford Escape. Just sold my 2012 F-150. Ordered a 2022 F-250 a couple of months ago. Haven't been without a truck in 20 years. Not going to be easy waiting. :c)

I dig the font, not sure about the name itself. Was considering some sort of Godzilla badge for mine but honestly, I'm a pretty offensive driver. I don't really like a whole lot about my truck to be recognizable if you catch my drift. ? That being said, it seems to match the side of the truck well. I also like how you did it, looks good.
