I ordered a 2022 F250 kings Ranch 6.7 in late June.It was built on September 29, in Tennessee. It arrived at the Kalispell Montana dealership on October 29. I picked it up on the 30th.
It took 2 days to get home to the southern Oregon coast, That was November 1. On November 12, the passenger side front turn signal quit working. Since it has LED upgrade, you can't replace any bulbs
On November 20, I was at the closest dealer (120 miles from home) at 7:30. I ended up renting a car as they did not start it that day. The next day, I was told there was a short, somewhere, in a wiring harness. Friday, the day after Thanksgiving, at 3:40, I am told that rodents chewed wires and its not covered.
In 16 years, 8 trucks, a toyota camry, honda accord, olds gutless calais, mercedes cl500 and a jeep wrangler, all parked outside, never had a rodent issue. I am being told that in 12 days, a rodent got in my truck, crawled under carpet to the passenger side rear, passed up welches dummies I use to keep my sugar levels up ( I am diabetic), chewed wires and left my truck. No nest anywhere in the truck, no nest in dashboard. I live on a paved road in a 14 house community with people walking dogs all day long. Im not on a dirt road, not on a farm or ranch. Never had a rodent even in our Jeep which gets used maybe 2 times a month. The new truck is driven everyday. Im trying to fight this, as I believe the wire harness was chewed either before install or while it sat for a few weeks waiting to be shipped. But, as the old saying goes, Where does the 800 pound gorilla sleep?
Whats a $1000.00 car rental and probably a $2500--$3000.00 repair bill
