They can’t legally sell 2022s after 12/31 so they have no choice.Never heard that before. What is it that prevents them from selling the 2022s after 12/31? Do they have to deliver all 22 models to dealerships by that date or face penalties under the law?

I think Ford should make a support group for people who've had to wait over a year for their order to arrive. I ordered a 22 F150 Platinum last year, the 4th of November, entered production 9-2-22 but is sitting waiting for parts. Honestly, I just want Ford to give me a box of donuts and some apple cider and tell me its going to be okay. ?

Dealer informed me this morning that my order for my 2022 Lariat 502A Powerboost had been scheduled last night for production on 5/5/22. I thought they were pulling orders for scheduling for the week of 4/18/22 this week? Placed my order on 12/23/21 so took about 3 months to be scheduled and I had no options that were linked to commodity constraints.
Congratulations on getting a schedule date. I ordered a 22 Platinum Powerboost on 11/4/21...I've been pushed 6 times so far.

That front end looks like its a thousand pounds...too much bulk! As being someone who drives an Expedition Max...floor space is everything and that 'fold flat' floor from Toyota is atrocious! I wonder how it will compare in fuel economy to the Expedition.

Man…I love Range Rover…but that def isn’t for me. Maybe seeing it in person would help but idk
It really doesn't help seeing it in person. Every time I see it I feel like I'm in a Sci-Fi movie and should be telling the person who steps out of one...'live long and prosper.'

Why does it look like a Mustang Mach E? I have never found an Alfa that I fit in comfortably, always too little leg room!

I just recently commented on another post about the adaptive cruise control feature and I'll tell anyone that has never experienced it before...it is the best feature money can buy IMO.
Setting it for a speed and not having to readjust it for changing traffic conditions is all that and a bag of chips. For long distance road trips on the highways, it greatly improves your driving experience. ?

Really glad I found this topic- ordered it on my build and excited to use it. Makes me
Feel better for spending the extra money!
IMO, its the best feature money can buy! I drive 80,000 miles a year for work and my work vehicle doesn't have adaptive cruise control, but my previous personal vehicle did and it was so fantastic to just set it and forget about how fast or how slow I was going. There was no need to adjust the speed of the cruise control because it automatically adjusted to the speed of the car infront of me. I cannot wait to have another vehicle with this option on it! It really enhances your driving experience and makes long distance trips on the highway...relaxing! ?

People who want a manual transmission are fine with the "calf raise" every time a new gear is needed. I feel like this is just an attempt from Ford to get more people interested in driving a manual...? ??
What happens if you grip the shifter too hard and the indentation you made on the knob doesn't release? I wonder how they'll combat continuous wear associated with physically grabbing something with your hand.

How is there only one competitor listed for large heavy duty pickup - I know there are only 3/4 in the segment, but why is only Chevy listed?
Listed in the fine print... "*No other model in this segment performs at or above segment average." <<< What that heck?

Here's an example I came across this morning from Ford Country in Las Vegas. 9 Bronco's available... 7 are used. Talk about big ADM's!
What the heck! Those are some crazy markups! That cactus gray first edition they have listed there is almost as expensive as an S Class Mercedes!
Does Farley intend on cracking down on all of the model markups or just the electric vehicle segment?

So I decided I wanted a 7.3 emblem and I like the "7.3 Godzilla" emblems out there but Godzilla name is to commercial (movies). Sooooo...I decided to change it up. The truck is now the 7.3 DREADNOUGHT, I find the name quite fitting?.
Heavily armed battleship?.
Some will think it is stupid some will like it.
Complete honesty here, what do you think?
I think this is so awesome!
When Ford came out with the 7.3 "Godzilla", I was disappointed because Godzilla just sounds so bleek and ordinary. I mean...we all know who Godzilla is, but to piggyback the name of Godzilla in the hopes of having the same recognition for big and badass I think is a bit cheeky coming from Ford. I would of much rather of seen them come out with a name of their own and in your case, you nailed it with Dreadnought!
If I had a 7.3, I'd want this emblem displayed on my truck in a heartbeat! ??

Large down payment, low APR finance for the balance. Plus having a good relationship with the dealership definitely helps drive prices down!

Hello from Northeastern Ohio! I've been a proud Ford Family member since 2016 when I purchased my first Ford vehicle, a 2016 Ford F350 DRW Platinum. Since then I've owned a 18 F150 King Ranch and a 18 Expedition Max XLT. Currently have a 22 F150 Platinum Powerboost Hybrid on order, hopefully it'll arrive sometime within the next century. ?
I'm very interested in the fields of connected and autonomous vehicle technology as I work in the profession. A lot of progress has been made in that field already, however there has not been a whole lot of contributions or projects with Ford yet but I am hopeful to see more in the future!

It's not only new vehicles with outlandish ADMs, but even more so used vehicles. Subaru dealer by me is asking $36,000 for a 2020 Crosstrek Premium with 29,000 miles. That is way above sticker when new. Lincoln dealer is asking $56,000 for 2020 Model 3 with 40,000 miles. Crazy prices.

My local Ford dealer bought my 18 F150 King Ranch back from me. I purchased it in 18 for 62k and the gave me 52k for it with 40,000 miles on it. I custom ordered a new F150 and while it might take a while to get it...I'm definitely not complaining about the value I got out of it due to the current market situation! However if you are on the other end of it, I understand...the dealership sold it close to what I paid for it...ouch!

Not related to lead times...but just another note on the package...from what I've read last night, the new black appearance package requires the 145" wheelbase. So if you are fine with a 5'5 bed, you can get the package! I was sorta disappointed when I was ordering a new platinum that I couldn't get it with the 6' bed.
More Shipping delays?

Frustrating, I know. At least you've only been waiting since February. ? Your local dealership is probably in the same boat along with all of the other dealerships in the US, not their fault that they cannot get your vehicle to you faster. It'll all get worked out in due time. ?
