Anyone know what the actual cost is that Granger is charging? When I looked up the Ford service plans they were like $4k for 100,000 miles. Which seems expensive when the diesel power train already has a 100,000 mile warranty.

I contacted Granger for the ESP which is the extended warantee and they were very good on pricing and I am going to go for the 7 year 125k miles 100 deductable and I can use my ford pass points for a partial payment. and I am including the fob and the lighting options. this is right at the 3k pricing

I asked about the service plans and they are not quoting the right now with the aggressive pricing they are doing for the ESP. So I may go elsewhere for the service plans.

I have been wondering when the service plans will bet a hike because of the fluid, mostly oil costs going up.

The local dealer told me that they were upside down on maintenance plans now because what they get from Ford is less than there material costs.

Saw the below in another forum- just an FYI for an option to the Flood ESP pricing:

While production issues continue on into 2022, we wanted to find another way we as a dealership can add value to the forum. We've made the decision to run a special on Ford Protect Extended Service plans for all forum members (this applies whether you purchased from us or not!).

Starting today we are going to offer Ford Protect Extended Service Plans for $50 over our dealer cost on any Super Duty Truck, whether you purchased it from us or another dealership. This represents a savings on average of $1000-$2000 from other dealerships in-person pricing and a discount from other online Ford Protect retailers as well. We will run this special through the end of April and reasses the volume. After the first initial roll out of this program, we will move our discount to $100 over dealer cost.

How do you get this started?

Please send an email to fordesp@grangermotors.com with the following information:

    Name
    Address
    Phone number
    VIN
    Mileage on Super Duty now
    Coverage desired (years and mileage)

The entire process will be handled seamlessly online by electronic signature and a secure electronic deposit. Your contract will be in force within 2-3 business days of completion of the deposit and electronic signature. Ford's ESP system is nationwide and will update electronically within their system showing your contract status, so you won't need a paper copy of the contract to bring with you, it is tied to your VIN number.

Ford pass points can be used towards the purchase of these contracts as well!

Have another Ford or Lincoln vehicle you'd like to add coverage to? Our pricing will be $100 over dealer cost. This should meet or exceed any other pricing you find online. The process is initiated the same way by emailing fordesp@grangermotors.com with the information above.

This offer is good for anywhere in the U.S. and Canada with the exception of the state of Florida.

    That is great news!

    Thanks for passing this on

I will be contacting them as I did get my 250 from them.

TinMan that is great news.  Just got my order in under the retail cutoff wire.  Placed order and got confirmation yesterday 2022 F-350 Limited Iconic Silver.  Fingers crossed.

    Cool for you!

    Love mine.

I went 250 with the high cap tow package and snow prep package after much deliberation and consternation on the 250/350 debate. I'm happy with what I got.

Remain patient it will come, don't get all wigged out about the delivery it won't do any good anyways, relax and enjoy the forum.

  4. Started my 2022 Limited diesel this morning and saw a brief "Trailer Brake Module Fault" briefly on the screen.

Usually I would expect that I would have to press the OK button to clear the error, but it went away and did not come back today.

This did happen on the first start of the day and it was -1 F.

    Thanks for any advice.

  7. Can anyone tell me where my truck is?

    Here is what I know

Status today from the ultra helpful cyberdman - In Transit -  Received    Ramp 6P, Kansas City Mc, MO    Dec-31-2021, 08:07 CT

I am thinking that means it was received in KC on New Years Eve

Sticker says Ramp one -CA6P - which correlates to Jack Cooper and palsapp.com

i go there plug in my VIN and get this: Origin - Kentucky Plant, Destination - BLANK, Destination Name - null, Freight bill # - 0691775808, VIN - my number and Status Pending.

Does that mean it's in the rail yard since 12/31 and waiting for transport to Iowa?

    Thanks

  8. I have ordered and it is in the shipping process from Kentucky to the dealer.

I am a long way from the dealer and will fly in do the paperwork and head back home for about 1,200 miles.

So when I get there and get a chance to check out the truck - 2022 F250 Limited Diesel, I would like to check it out to make sure that all the stuff that I got actually works.

I am looking for a checklist of what to verify and how to test it to make sure it is working. These kind of checklists are out there for RV's and camping trailers but I have not been able to find one for this vehicle.

I would expect that Ford or the dealer would have a process to validate or QA these things and the hope it that they are comprehensive and thorough in doing them.

Apologies if my search did not find one that is out there - so please point me in the right direction if there is.

    Jesus where’s it going to?

I hope that it is going to Iowa

However not much has been predictable in this process.

I have decided to just relax and wait till it comes in. Then deal with the process and the incentives that may or may not be there at that time.

I will be interested in how anxious the dealer is to have me come and get it, after I have waited this long.

Hurry up and wait for me. Let's see how it translates.
