Any idea what is holding yours up?  Interior color etc?

I ordered 10/18 and it was built 3/30 and has been sitting there waiting for transport ever since ??‍♀️

I was told it was the roast colored interior. Allegedly. I wish the Black Label interiors weren’t so hokey. We ended up building a reserve to BL spec(as much as possible) just to avoid the interiors.

"most consideration" is a funny way of putting things. I have had a priority code 02 since 02/03/22 and still haven't been considered ?

That's funny. Its been over 7 months since I ordered my truck and I still have at least another month before its built

Well, I picked up my Corsair Reserve yesterday. Here is the timeline. Dealer ordered it for stock on November 13 2021. I put a deposit on it February 16, 2022. Listed as in production on March 24th and was built on March 25th. It was shipped from Louisville on March 28th and arrived at the dealer in Naples FL on April 4th.

I hope that when my lease is up in three years that we are back to normal delivery times. I also hope that delivery speeds up for all of you waiting for your cars.

That's actually a great timeline. Congrats!

Yes, they build stock orders before OKTB and would have been held at the factory for inspection until the factory produces error free builds for 5 consecutive days.  After that retail orders are scheduled and built and the held vehicles are inspected and repaired if necessary then shipped.

So stock vehicles are either before OKTB or retail orders where the buyer backed out or there was some part or feature not available for the pending retail orders in that particular round of scheduling so a stock order was selected,

Well that's even scarier then because they are just now building customer orders and they've been building Navigators since late January........ Better buy that extended warranty!

I ordered a Lincoln product same day. Was it a Navigator by chance?

While dealer stock in general would come after retail orders, the first batch of 2022 Navigators produced seem to have all been dealer stock orders.  These orders were placed after 10/19/21, sometimes well after.

But these were built before the OK to sell date.  If it makes you feel any better, think of the dealer vehicles as “practice”.  They didn’t build any retail orders until they were sure they had the process right.

    Yes. It was a navigator.

  6. I ordered a Lincoln product on 10/19(day after the order books opened) for the product. I am a May build. My dealer has 6 for sale on the lot(all asking over sticker) while mine keeps getting pushed back. I just dont get it. They have both my interor and exterior colors on the lot, all of the options I've requested are represented on the lot as well. It seems that Ford is prioritizing dealer stock over ordered vehicles. It makes no sense and as a first time Ford buyer doesn't sit well with me.

  7. Those of you who wish there was air suspension have never had to pay to fix an air suspension when it breaks.  It’s probably one of the most unreliable features of any vehicle I’ve ever owned.
my Ram 1500 came with air suspension from the factory. All it does is break. Same with the Cadillac I had before that.

The problem now.accordimg to the other forums is that people are wanting to order but don't know what they are ordering.  Because the 2022 site hasn't been updated at all (unlike the nav page), theres no pics of any trim outside plat, tim, and spp, no interior colors or pics, and no pics of the other screen, tach features, etc.  It's weird ford would make the vehicle available to order, yet not update the site to atleast show the generic pics of each trim.

It’s on the Lincoln site. Not build and price but you can see generic pics by trim level. Also, if you want to see a color go  to the dealership and look at a vehicle in that color. A visit swayed us from pristine white to Ceramic Pearl

i never said it was in production, i said it was "send to plant", please to not extrapolate off of my postings

Does it really matter? You’ll get your car when you get your car. No amount of internet sleuthing or bothering your dealer is going to change that.
