Nothing yet..........I guess it will be another few weeks.  Order 12/31/21 KRU 6.7 with the Tremor package, dealer says I have been bumped to priority 2 since the first of March.

Right there with you. Ordered 12/24/22 and was confirmed 12/31/22. Have not heard a thing. I’ve called the dealer a couple of times to ask how it’s coming along. Unscheduled clean is what he always tells me.  Now I here that multicontour seats with active motion are not going to be available on any of the remaining 22MY orders. So no massaging seats and Ford gives me a $300 credit!  Glad I didn’t already trade in my 2020 DRW king ranch. It has everything I can’t seem to special order on a 22MY DRW king ranch to include GPS navigation that doesn’t cost me $80 a year. Piss poor Ford!!  I’ll be standing by to see if and when the dealer contacts me to have me sign the form acknowledging this BS.  I was prepared to wait to get the truck I wanted and didn’t give in to dropping the commodity restraints I needed. Now it looks like Ford is just going to build them with what they want to clear the books and offer up low ball credits. Probably tell them they can sell it someone else instead and I want my deposit back.

    Was driving by dealer

so I stopped and try to get some better answers

Manager to busy to meet me

but sent out a paper that says order status(in order processing)

    and (unscheduled clean)

    aug 26-2021

    then sales man came out

he could not confirm priority 10

or where in line or what regional manager is saying

He  just says that there lots of cars/vans/trucks still waiting just as long as me

I told him to find out where in line Iam at and to ask regional manager to lower priority

will see when he calls me

    ?

I though I would be proactive with my dealer and try and ask some questions that guys were suggesting here. Lower my priority code, how many trucks are ahead of me with their dealership and how many allocations they get a month. I got told there are too many variables to give an answer for the number of allocations, and a straight up no they can not lower my priority code. I asked if the regional Ford rep could do it and was told all COVP orders are submitted at priority code 10. I guess that’s fair, but anyone with the similar vehicle at another dealership with a lower priority code will get theirs built first I would think. They also could not tell me how many super duties are ahead of me. They said if I wanted to ensure I got it faster that I should delete some of my options that are on the commodity restriction list. Oh and they also would not tell me how much the PCO I received from Ford was worth. They said since it expires July 5, 2022 there would be not any reason to see how much it was worth until my truck actually arrives. If it was after July 5th I would not be able to use it anyway. They also know I can’t submit an order anywhere else for a super duty now so I am stuck with them.

  3. Found out some interesting news today from a friend who order a 22MY king ranch Super Duty back in August and has had his new truck since some time in January. Apparently the sync 4 system in the 22MY Super Duty comes with a 90 trial subscription to navigation. After that you do not have GPS navigation in the truck anymore. The subscription cost $80 a year if you want GPS navigation or you can use the Apple Car play feature and use your mapping system on phone when you have service. If you don’t have an Apple phone I guess you won’t have navigation at all. I think it kind of sucks when you buy a truck that expensive that you don’t get GPS navigation like most vehicles have had for so many years. If I ever do get my new truck this is going to suck. Don’t use GPS all the time, but usually have it on during trips for guidance and traffic updates in unfamiliar areas.

Fortunately, I have an exceptional dealer, who I have known for 15+ years. In tough times like these. I'm finding that it pays to have built a relationship with the local dealer.

All the best for getting your truck built.

Yah unfortunately I have not established that with any dealer. Purchased theee different super duty truck over the years and each time I have got them from a different dealership. Always went with the best price, but who knew that one day there would be no trucks on the dealer lots and you would have to order one and wait months for it to be built. Difficult times for sure.

Man, that is more information you got from Ford then I ever have when I call.  Sometimes I call and get no info and will call back 5 mins later to get someone else.  No luck.  They just tell me to talk to my dealer...who also gives me little to no info.  I am hopeful that Ford plans to get all orders fulfilled prior to moving over to the 23's

I guess I got lucky. I hope that luck transitions over to a VIN and a build date. Dealer told me the private cash offer incentive number I gave them expires July 5 and would not be valid if I don’t take delivery before then. I have heard other say different but I guess it only matters what the dealership says where I ordered it. Of course this is my salesman talking and not the sales manager so there may be a chance he is not correct.

I just received an unsolicited call from my salesman who said that official word came down from FMC today that 2022 MY Super Duty’s will be built into the Fall to try and get all orders built.

I hope this is true. Really looking forward to getting behind the wheel of my new super duty.  I’m hoping since my order was in January and they cut them off in April there are plenty behind me that won’t be built either. Of course I have some commodities that are going to hold my production date up. Fifth wheel and spray in bedliner.

I guess I got lucky. Ann was the name of the lady I spoke with and she was very helpful.  Just Hope that luck transition to a build date and a VIN cause my dealer said the incentive offer I got expires July 5th and if I don’t take delivery by then I won’t be able to use it. 8. Took the advise of a post from a few weeks ago and called Ford customer relation center. In asking some questions about my order I was informed by the lady I was talking to that Fords projection of opening up the order portal for 23MY would not be until late October. She said it was Fords intention to cut off orders on April 1st so that it could supply vehicles to all customer orders that were currently in place. I hope this is true. I also had her look up to see if there were any incentives under my name for private cash offer rebates and she was able to pull up one. She gave me the incentive number, but was not able to tell me what is was worth, but said my dealership could. I asked if I had a private cash would it not be sent out to me and she said not always. Sometimes Ford doesn’t mail them out.   Not much else I can do while I wait anyway. Lol!

    All depends on the dealer.

Although mine is built and shipped, had it not made it as a 22MY, my dealer advised he would automatically order a 23MY, request Ford for Priority 1 or 2 upon submitting the order, and also guarantee our agreed price.

I will have to ask my dealer.  I asked the question about 22MY vs 23MY when I placed my order. I was told if I did not make the cutoff this year I would have to reorder and as some of the options may have changed and the price would also change.  That sucks as I know it has gone up since I have ordered and will continue to climb.

Last I'd heard, of course just from forum chatter, was they were going to build through late fall. That talk has been pretty consistent for quite some time so I tend to think that's their intent.

My best guess is they are going to try to build all the retail orders.

That could change real quick if 22MY parts became an issue whereas they thought 23MY would not be, I'd imagine.

I hope the chatter is right. I order back in January and have read that Ford will not roll over 22MY to 23MY if you don’t get scheduled. Just get to pay the new prices and start the wait all over again.

I order my king ranch 12-1. With spray in bed liner and fifth wheel   Was built last week and awaiting shipment

This is awesome to hear. Dealer wanted me to drop both of these options when I placed my order but I didn’t want to. Glad to hear they are getting selected for a build.

As I posted on April 8th...

In Ford's announcement to Dealers about the upcoming enhanced Vehicle Visibility, included was a FAQ section with additional information. I'm including a portion of that information here since the Super Duty Orders & Discussion forum has had the greatest volume in the past year.

Will unscheduled orders be ‘carried over’ or receive scheduling priority for the 2023MY?

No, Ford will not carry over orders and will not prioritize replacement orders.

Will Ford offer price protection or incentive protection on unbuilt orders? No

Ford's policies regarding the above could change, as Ford reviews the situation on an ongoing basis for each vehicle line and has taken actions in the past to assist customers. I will share relevant, additional information as it becomes available.

Thanks for the info sir!  Didn’t see that post, but this thread is pretty active. I guess all I can do is see what happens. Worst case… I get my deposit back and keep driving my 2020. Then I can see how much the price increases for a 23my would be when the order portal opens back up again. Then make the decision if I want to get on the wait list for another year.

it would be about $2500 , im still waiting on build date as well, so ill see when/if it gets here if they keep there word or not. i got pco for 2500 the other day so hopefully they keep there word and i get 5k off. if not i have a sign made for the back of truck with dealership name and how they dont keep there word that i will put on after deal is done. im sure it wont hurt there business but ill feel better.

I would fly that sign loud and proud as well!  I hope they hold true to xplan price deal and honor the customer rebate offer. The only thing my dealer cautioned me about was if the order was converted to a 23 superduty that my pricing would change. Hoping that holds true.

Ordered f350 with xplan signed dora and now dealer saying they wont honor xplan pricing..

Wow!  I also ordered with xplan with a signed dora. My truck is still a ways out as I only ordered it in January 31, but I was afraid this would also happen to me. How much more are they trying to add to the price?

  15. I called the dealer where I order my 2022 super duty from back on January 31 to check on my status. It shows “unscheduled/clean” as it has for sometime. I realize this will be the case for awhile as I order it with the fifth wheel prep and spray in bed liner. I also asked about the possibility of my order being converted to a 2023 and he said that they had not discussed converting any current orders to 2023’s, but as of April 01 they were no longer taking orders on super duty truck and that would be the case until the order portal open back up. He also estimated the order portal to open back up around August or September of this year and those orders would be 2023’s. Has anyone else heard or experienced this?

Hey all, I ordered my tremor 6.7 in the end of november and never got a single email from Ford. I called the dealership on Friday to make sure that the email was correct and my sales guy said it was. He said that for some reason there have been a bunch of people who weren't receiving emails. I wanted it know is this true? Am I the only one who has experienced this?

I ordered mine end of January and never got an email. A week ago I contacted the dealer and they printed me out what they

dealer order receipt acknowledgment (DORA). It showed when the order was placed and my order number. They also gave me the Order Fulfillment Vehicle Visibility report which showed the truck was “In Order Processing” and “Unscheduled Clean”. On a side note I ordered a Lincoln Aviator on Saturday and I got an email a few hours after leaving the dealership. Lincoln dealer told me it would 2-3 months on the Aviator and it would be a 2023. I wonder what will end up happening with my truck order.

I'm currently awaiting the 3rd truck I've ordered through 3 different dealers, and I've never gotten the email updates like you are supposed to.  Apparently if your dealer inputs the information correctly you will receive email updates on your vehicle as it progresses through the system, and I never got them for my 2015, 2021, or my 2022.  It sounds you are on top of things, getting them to put the price in writing, and I am assuming that the order sheets have all of the correct options on them so there really isn't much more you can do on your end that I am aware of/can think of.  Unfortunately the amount of time you can end up waiting on these trucks gives too much time to worry about what can go wrong until it shows up.

Thanks for the info. Your right about plenty of time to worry while you wait. Thinking back to the order that I made on the 2020 I have now I don’t recall ever getting an email from ford about status either. The dealer was pretty good about sending me updates as it progressed though.

could someone explain to me what "clean/unscheduled order" means please

I am no guru on this stuff but I found this explanation in a post by “cyberdman” (sorry if I misspelled). It appears he is a guru and helps a lot of people out with tracking their progress of vehicle production. This is what he had to say.
Unscheduled-Clean, that means you have a successful order in the system and it isn't currently scheduled for production”.

    Hope this helps!!

Just got my window sticker on my 22 F250 Lariat I ordered and have the printout of the order from my dealer. I ordered 3.55 electronic locking rear axle and the window sticker shows 3.31 electronic locking. Truck build was 2/01. Dealer told me sorry about the mistake would you like to order another? WTH is this.  I asked for them swap out complete axle or gears and was told no, but they would charge me a discount rate on parts/labor to swap out. Any one else experience this or similar issue?

Wow!  That is crazy. Reordering will take forever and I am assuming you have already been waiting for some time. Reading some of these mishaps makes me fearful of trading in my 2020 super duty while waiting for my new one to be built. The trade in price is good, but if something this happened to me I would be inclined to keep my old one. Hope the come up with some kind of better resolution for you.

  20. Had a question for anyone that can provide insight. After reading though some of the post on guys who have been waiting some time I have seen some posts talking about people getting an email from ford saying their order has been received within a week or so. Is this customary?  Dealership asked for my email and said it would be for ford to communicate with me through. Just don’t want to be waiting for some time only to find out dealership has not submitted the order correctly and that is why I have not received an email. They printed out the MSRP sheet for me with the invoice price and the x-plan price and I signed it and kept a copy of it after reviewing all the options. Then later I was emailed the same sheet with an updated priority code of 10 and an order number in it. Just want to be proactive so I don’t get taken advantage of.

    Thanks!!

I ordered a MY2021 F450 back in March 2021. My dealer submitted the order as a MY2022 in early April 2021 and I received an order confirmation e-mail from Ford on 4/7/21. I have not heard a peep since from Ford, but after almost a year of waiting today I was issued a build week of 3/14/2022 and a VIN#.

The truck is a King Ranch optioned with almost everything on the commodity shortage list (F450 aluminum rims, spray in bedliner, adaptive steering and 5th wheel prep package). I was contemplating dropping options but held my ground.

Posting here to let others know that if you are able and willing to wait it does seem Ford will eventually schedule the truck with the options you want for build.

Wow!  That’s some patience. Just curious did you end up with the same pricing or did you have to pay additional since it took so long to get the 22.

  22. Glad I found this forum. Honestly I was only trying to find out information on how long I was going to have to wait to get the new super-duty truck I ordered on January 25. I assume it’s going to be awhile as I was repeatedly asked while placing the order about removing the fifth wheel prep package and spray in bed-liner as they will extend my wait time. Had to put down a $500 non refundable deposit to submit the order. A friend of mine ordered his back in August and finally received about the middle of January.  He said it was scheduled for a build date a couple of times and that it was pushed back before it was finally built. I am hoping for the same without the rescheduling, but was cautioned by the dealer that it could take 6-8 months. I too was wondering about my order being rolled over to a 2023 so I appreciate the advise for the recent post. I have heard both options discussed from two different dealers. This my third special order. First was back in 1999 and my second was February 2020. Hope this one goes smoothly as dealer wants my 2020 trade in now, but I am reluctant to let it go until I get a better idea of when this one will be built.
