Hello Fellow Truckers We have a 2022 F350 SRW LB 6.7 Diesel with the dual alternator option. I believe one is rated at 240amps and the other at 157amps for a total of 397. Both batteries and alternators are of course 12 Volts. We also have an Alliance 5th wheel in which I plan on installing a 48V Solar system in the near future. I also want to install a DC to DC Charger to help top off the 48V Lithium batteries on rainy travel days. I've noticed that Victron (and a couple of other companies) offer 24V to 48V DC to DC chargers, which sounds ideal for what I'm hoping to accomplish. My question to the Forum is.... Is there a way (without blowing out the trucks electrical system) to run cables in Series from the two 12V batteries in the Truck to create 24V power to the 24V to 48V DC to DC charger? I've also noticed that the newer Super Duty's come with a 24V 150amp Alternator with the Pro Power option. Maybe I could switch out my 12V 157amp alternator for one of those? Thanks in advance for your advice.

It's funny. We were really bummed when we heard the news Ford was cancelling the Multi Contour Seats for the rest of the 2022 models. I sort of blamed myself because I insisted on keeping the "5th Wheel Hitch Prep Package" on my order, even though our Salesman told us it would probably cause the build to be delayed. As it turns out, I guess the delay ended up being just long enough to have the MCS put back on my build because it's going to be after the magical 9/5/22 date. As I've said for MANY years now. "Even a Blind Squirrel finds a nut every once in a while."

Hi Guys I just checked online, and I finally got my window sticker for the 2022 F350 SRW LB I ordered back on 01/21/22. I know there was a period in Spring/early Summer where Ford had stated the Multi Contour Seats were not going to be included in the trucks, but then I remember seeing a comment from Ice Capades later on that the MCS would now be included again, so of course my Wife got really excited. So here's my confusion (not the first time, trust me), the Window sticker for my truck under the "INTERIOR" section at the top mentions "PWR 10-WAY DRV/8-WAY PASS", but I don't see the $300 credit that Ford was giving for the MCS delete. So what do you guys think, is the MCS a thumbs up, or a thumbs down for our Super Duty?

Hello Blue Oval Humans I've noticed Forum members talking about purchasing their new Trucks from Granger Ford in Iowa. It seems they (and a place called Champman Ford in PA) offer a substantial discount on ordered vehicles. I was wondering if some of the guys who have purchased from these dealerships could relate their experiences with their purchase, both good and bad?
