I am just not sure what the purpose of placing the order online when you still have to go in to the dealer to have them 'redo' it.  It really just adds confusion to the process.

[Ford to sell vehicles without features enabled]

Reading the recent Mach-E build threads, there are reports of Ford pulling active park assist 2.0 and adding a Prep-Kit while providing a $325 credit.  This appeared during their build week. I am really curious to see when they take delivery what the kit consits of. Also if you want it retro fitted at a later time, is it really only going to cost $325?

Ordered a mach-e GTPE last November and it shipped out yesterday. Supply chains, chip shortages, and battery supplies are catching the world with their pants down.

Would love to see ventilated seats! I live in the south, it would make a huge difference!

I was totally thrown off. I ordered online and place my deposit. I got the confirmation and it was societies with the dealership I selected. About a week later I reached out to the dealership just to check in and they said I needed to come in to actually place the order. WHHHYYYY

[Black out packages]

I personally dislike chrome and would love for black out options. I typically debadge also for a more simpler look. 

[Range]

Last year I didn't notice any loss of miles based on heat on my Tesla. I was living in the Florida panhandle at the time. I did still see a lost during our winters but it was mild compared to the northern states. 

[New Safety Features]

I can turn off lane center, cross traffic alerts etc on my center screen of my Mach-E.  Lane centering makes steering really heavy and my wife does not like it.  I typically leave it on.

[Intelligent Adaptive Cruise Control]

I have co-pilot 360 with Bluecruise on my Mach-E.  I use this on my 80 mile commutes each day.  I usually have it engaged for 85% of my drive and I absolutely love it.

I have bluecruise on my Mach-E.  It works well for the most part for me.  I know a few complain about it hugging one side of the lane or the other.  Mine tracks pretty much in the middle most of the time.  I have noticed that it kicks off when driving into the sun or if there are a lot of shadows.

I traded my Hellcat in for a used Tesla Model S in Jan 2021 due to me moving out of the city.  My daily commute went from 2 miles round trip to 80 miles round trip each day.  After dropping 30k miles on the Tesla in a short time, I went and bought a new Mach-E in Nov 2021.  I have already hit 10k miles on this one.  I ran the numbers I have saved $1600  over the last 4 months and 10k miles on gas alone.  This does not include any maintenance costs such as oil changes..

[Active Park Assist 2.0 removal]

I have a build week of 3/21.  I have seen numerous people in the build thread talk about their window sticker being updated from Active Park Assist to the Active prep kit with a $325 credit. Although my window sticker was updated after the prep kit was added to others in my build thread, mine never changed.  I wish I could give it up so I can get the hands free lift gate as I will probably rarely ever use the park assit.

Currently have a 2021 Mach-E but have a GTPE on order in Cyber-Orange.  Trying to learn as much as I can on Fords.
