Mine is to Tomball Ford. I’ve stopped being excited about it. It’ll happen when it happens. It sucks, but it’s the new norm, at least for the foreseeable future. I’ve waited 11 oaths, so what’s another week…or four…

Great! Mine is in the same lot and has been there for a week. I got an email from Ford last night that updated my delivery to 18-24th, so I’m hoping it’s at least going to be delivered in that window. Don’t want to be discouraging, but that’s the reality for me right now.

The dealer says they can’t go back and look at the x-plan price on the original price when I ordered it because there wasn’t an invoice created. So they can either give me the x-plan price based on the current invoice, OR they give me the truck at the ordered price. They say they can’t give me the original price, THEN calculate and give me the x-plan price on top of that. As a result, the x-plan price on the current invoice gives me a few hundred dollars in discounts instead of the approximate $3K. It just feels like there’s something wrong with their explanation. Does that make sense, and is there something to my train of thought, or is the dealer’s explanation on target?

I see that in Section 6. Maybe I’m not interpreting correctly, but if they honor the X-Plan price, are you seeing where it says they MUST honor it calculated on the protected price on my original order sheet? I don’t believe I should have to choose either the original price, or the X-Plan price calculated off the latest invoice. I just want to go into the finance office with ammo to prove what I’m saying (if it exists). Thanks for your insight, akirby!

Congratulations!! That’s awesome!! We just drove by the lot at about 6:30pm CST and saw trucks loading and vehicles moving, so it looks like these guys are working OT! Maybe I’ll get mine tomorrow! Enjoy your truck!!

Ouch! I’m afraid there is a good possibility that may happen here too. I drove by the lot, which is the drop-off / holding lot for several vehicle makes, and it’s packed! That’s a huge lot! It may take some time to work through them. I’ll update when it actually happens.

Mine got to the storage lot where they’re offloaded from the trains Monday/Tuesday. It’s scheduled to be at the dealer tomorrow. We’ll see. The lot is around 20 miles from my dealer. I’m hoping I’ll get the call tomorrow or Saturday. Fingers crossed.

Dude! That’s jacked up. You guys had your trucks built sooner but are waiting on shipping. I waited up front, with mine not built until November, but with a shorter wait to ship. Can’t help but think they’ll be clearing trucks like yours out very soon so they make room for the MY23 trucks coming off the line soon. Good luck! I truly hope it ships asap!!

I haven’t had the level of delays you guys have experienced. I’ve only waited a month. I got my Shipped update Sunday morning,January 1st with a schedule arrival at my dealer of the 13th. I ordered Feb of last year, so I’ll be at the 11 month mark from beginning to end, assuming this last leg is on schedule. I’m in Houston, so 2 weeks doesn’t sound abnormal. Your situation sounds pretty over-extended. Maybe you’ll get it much sooner than the 2 week estimate. Good luck!

Which dealer are you using? I see you’re in Seabrook…I’m in South Houston, but I’m using Tomball. They’re keeping me updated on mine. I ordered mine a few days after you in February but mine wasn’t produced until mid November. It was loaded on rail last weekend and is scheduled to be delivered next Friday. Is your salesman helping you like that?

akirby, I spoke to my salesman about price protection and the xplan. He told me I could choose one or the other but couldn’t have both. That sounds fishy to me. How about you?

I agree with your delivery assessment. At this point, our trucks will arrive when they arrive. I’m just psyched that it’s on its way! no issues with the sensors. I’ve driven his truck and was wondering if I’d hit anything with the extra bumper steel, but I get the same beeping as i do in other vehicles. I’ve got a few items waiting on my truck too. 11 months is a long time to study and prepare for a truck. It’s almost impossible not to buy stuff… ?

I ordered Feb 26th. My truck is headed all the way down to the Houston area, so my dealer says it usually takes a couple of weeks to arrive, which will put it on target as per the system at next Friday. I travel a lot in the country, so one of my upgrades will be Ranch Hand bumpers. My son in law has one and hit a deer without a scratch on his 2017 F250.

Woah! Glad everyone is ok! Deer collisions can have much worse consequences, so I’m glad you guys were blessed to come out of this in good shape! I'm in your order position as well. As of Monday the 2nd, my truck is on the train in Illinois with an ETA of the 13th. I still have my ‘06 Silverado with 331,000 miles, so I’m not hurting for a vehicle like you. Best of luck in getting yours asap. Do you have an ETA from your dealer?

I received my “Shipped” update this morning. Don’t have an ETA on it but the dealer told me the 13th a week or so ago. We’ll see.

I haven’t received any shipping updates. I’ve confirmed that my truck has all of its chips and is just waiting to be shipped. I’m just waiting for logistics to load me up on the rail. I’m pretty sure my truck won’t make it to the dealership by the 13th as currently scheduled, although there’s still a chance of it happening. I’ve been curious as well about how many people have been receiving updates from “Build” to “Shipped” over this past week. Doesn’t sound like very many, if any.

Let’s hope that insider info is accurate! It makes sense, but we all know that premise was out the window a long time ago thanks to COVID! Thanks for sharing, CAMO!!

Searching this forum sucks, by the way… Does anyone know when the Christmas break is over at KTP, and whether or not the entire plant is shut down, or just assembly? My truck is released from chip hold, and I’m just waiting to be shipped. Feels like that’ll probably not happen until Jan 3rd or beyond. I’m assuming the entire processes are down for the next 9-10 days. Anyone have that info?

That only tracking site left is Ford. Search for “Check Order Status” and enter your info. The only real issue with it is the lack of details. I have relied on my dealer to give me the status they see in their system, which can have more information than what we see on the website. You’ll probably need to find someone who can actually help you with that, if your salesman is inept. good luck.

Congrats!! Now the wait continues for the last chips, then hopefully no shipping delays. I’m in the same boat, so I’ll post my updates as I get them. So far, Ford has delayed me to Jan 7-13. We’ll see if that holds up. good luck!! I hope yours has NO delays!!
