Hey everyone! I’m new to this forum. I work in heavy line/diesel at a dealer in Texas. I’ve been seeing a lot of programming errors on 17+ powerstroke F Super duty’s. Especially on FSA 20E07. Has anyone found any work arounds? Has anyone used Forscan for looking for identifying miss programmed ASB?
the latest truck I fought was a 2018 f550 cab and chassis with a 6.7. Came in for crank no start. I replaced the fuel pump driver module and pigtail. I completed the 20E07 campaign and got a CEL on after road test. Upon KOEO on PCM found no engine DTCs. I ran a KOEO on TCM and got a P0884 for TCM VPWR. Truck drives and shifts fine. Hotline said they were “investigating” so I did a PCM reprogram again with a tear tag and the code went away.
Has anyone found a workaround fighting programming errors? I’ve tried this method with a hit or miss result. Thanks in advance!
