They are not any adapter plates between the intake and heads.... I will measure the cover when I get home. And the motor is wide

Mine has a plastic intake. And I know the freeze plugs for the 4.6 will not fit they are too small so that being said I'm assuming it is the 5.4 I just didn't want to order parts for the wrong motor thanks

Yes I know that the guy I got the car from said the motor was changed he thinks it came out of a ford truck that's why I was asking how to go about identifying what was in the car
