  1. I agree with ice-capades. I've not heard of Ford essentially stopping production for a trim level this early and giving up. They still have a number of months to possibly schedule the order. This would also be affecting other people as well and I've not seen nor heard anything from others of a similar situation. This would also make the Ford authority news because this would be significant.
  2. No luck here. It was noted that this was cleanup week for any dealership with unused allocations and that KR and Platinum were limited scheduling. It will be next week I believe when the June's allocations will be used.
  3. I would be willing to bet it has to do with the pro backup assist since I heard it was exhausted for the month of June and possibly July. Since that is part of the package that is required on Platinum, it would not be able to be built. You're lucky to at least be scheduled and this early in Job 2. You will at least have a higher probability of getting your truck built before it moves over to MY24.
  4. According to the latest scheduling update, pro trailer or pro back-up assist is exhausted for June. I don't remember which option and still limited scheduling for KR and Platinum. Hopefully with next months allocations and the other plant working this will mean maybe more of us get scheduled. However, since the pro-backup is part of KR and above, it seems unlikely.
  5. That sounds right. I've been a 10 from outset last October. KR 450's just have a lot of missing/constrained items; one week it was tires ?. Like I said in the previous post, hopefully with the Kentucky plant fully running it will ease the burden of scheduling the KR and Play builds and open up the possibility of more being accommodated. If it continues at this rate of limited production for KR and Play, I'll be as likely to see my truck as I am to win the lottery twice in a row.
  6. So, it's been limited scheduling for KR and Platinum for a number of weeks. Most of it is because of a couple of limited available items that are a part of those trim levels, but some of it was capacity for production. So, with the Kentucky plant open, it will help a small amount to alleviate the scheduling issues for higher trim levels. Though it was noted that Limited was exhausted for the rest of May and all of June.
  7. You've got that right. The fact that their sitting on lots with cash incentives is because no one is buying them. On another note I do wish the allocation thing was more transparent for a buyer. I only had one dealership tell me that I likely would not get a truck from them because they didn't have a lot of allocations and even the dealer I'm with doesn't readily share that. And I get it, they want a sale and if a low allocation is going to turn a customer away then might as well not inform the customer just in case they actually do get the vehicle to sell. It's just very frustrating taking a gamble on a dealership you don't have normal relationships with.
  8. I would get with your dealer to check in and make sure your email is on the order that goes in the system. But even with that said, the answer to your question is... well know one really knows and that's hardest part. There isn't really a lot of pattern or ryhme or reason behind not getting scheduled. I mean there is, but there's so many factors that play into it that it's difficult to point to any diffinitive thing.
  9. This was not what was communicated in Tuesdays Ford to dealer commodity/schedule information. I believe that is inaccurate.
  10. From the Ford Video guy video I know at least from this last week's round of scheduling, my truck had very little chance of getting picked up. 19.5" tires, the ones that are on F450's, was only 2% of scheduled builds?. That and vista roofs are 20% which mine also has. Also HO Diesel was very low, though I don't recall the percentage. Then there's the upfitter switches which are a part of KR, and the pro back-up trailer assist which is also on KR. All of these were very low percentages for scheduling. I might be looking at a unicorn build. I know soon I'll have to decide if I can wait for a 24 if this thing doesn't get scheduled. I'm a priority 10 I'm case anyone else is in the same bucket...it's just parts availability. Anyone else on here waiting for an F450?
  11. Yeah...about that. When I was looking into getting a '22 I saw the same thing. Picture after picture of trucks with stock photos, then they'd show up at the dealership with what ice-capades said, inventory pictures. But everytime I would call about that vehicle, it was a truck already ordered for a customer and sold. Then they would offer to have me order one or look at another truck if they had one. Most of the time it as a '21 or '20 MY, not in the trim I wanted, and marked up so high that ordering a '23 was actually cheaper. That's why I'm in this mess. So, good luck at finding one that isn't already sold to a customer and doesn't come with strings attached or huge mark-ups.
  12. They are correct. The banks closed for tremor packages on Wednesday sometime according to The Ford guys latest video on YouTube. I can find the link if needed.
  13. So here's some things that would be nice to know were it possible. How many allocations at each dealership for each vehicle. What order place is your dealership in the scheduling process? And I know my priority code but how many are ahead of my order? By the way, is it possible to assign the same priority code for the same vehicle at the dealership? Yep, unless it's missing or really late...not scheduled yet again.
  14. Wow, that is crazy fast. I'm really hoping to get scheduled within the next few weeks.
  15. Super Congrats. I would love to hear that in a few days from now but I'm thinking I didn't get picked up this week. My salesman is under the impression that we should both get an email when I get scheduled but the lack of emails from Ford makes me think otherwise and that I might only hear from the sales manager.
  16. When I watched the Ford Guy video, it sounds like it's a line production capacity, meaning at this time they can only schedule that much for builds of what is ordered. Not the total of all orders. They noted that until July moonroofs are on a 7% constraint which means of the orders that will get scheduled, only 7% of the orders can have a moonroofs in their order.
  17. Yep, I chose to do the same thing for the spray-in liner. Excited for you...to bad it's a week away for pickup when it's so close ?
  18. So let it be written;so let it be done. ?? Well, here's hoping I get scheduled soon so I don't have to debate wether or not I need to roll over to a MY24. My dealer contacted me and let me know I'm not scheduled yet but let me know as soon as it is. He also said that we would both get an email from Ford saying it is. However, based on the lack of emails from Ford, I'm not holding my breath for up-to-date emails on status. For those of you who got scheduled, how soon did you know about it, from Ford, not your dealer?
  19. That's unlikely since before it gets picked up orders are looked at based on production availability and your dealer allotted priority code. Features can be deleted to help you get picked up in a production. Trims would create a new order and the upper trim levels are closed, except for King Ranch I believe. I'm in the same boat. Ordered first day, 450 KR, with panoramic roof (constrained item), it comes with pro power (constrained item), fifth wheel prep package (constrained item), HO diesel (constrained item)...so I'm just hoping it gets scheduled period.
  20. That's why I ordered a 23. There were too many 21's with like 65-100k miles on them and they were still asking a 35-44k price premium. I saw a 21 Lariat Ult, with 65k miles and they posted the original window sticker (I think to rub it in) in the pics...it was 25k more than when it was brand new, without 65k miles!!! And because there's has been a decreasing stock if new inventory it will still be that way because they know there isn't any other option. That is why I'm sticking with my order.
  21. If it's anything like last year the higher trim levels still have a ways to go. It's not looking good.
  22. According to the Ford Guy on YouTube, it's possible that scheduling picks for this week might include job 2 builds, which will start in April. I'm assuming he'll post a video about that when it happens. But it's really likely to happen next Thursday scheduling round.
  23. It's because Ford is in much higher demand than the other guys; let them have their Chevy's. They have them on lots because they're not moving them. And to be frank, everyone has different supply issues. I've seen things come out of the blue that no one would love expected to affect another business. The ripple effect to the extreme.
  24. Ok, so my dealer got back to me and said that KR has on-board scales as standard equipment and that the J2 bank opened for it, so mine is in at priority 10. (And I removed the spray in bed liner option.) Now I just have to wait for all the planets to align so that my build can actually get picked up. ??
  25. I got an email from my dealer saying that they haven't released the ability to add in the on-board scales which is what I was waiting for and whether I should push the order without it or wait to see when it goes live. I'm on the fence because from what I can tell it would be a very useful tool without me having to go to the scales each time. What do you guys think?
