  1. Im thinking that a SRW does not offer the towing capacity of the dually so there's no need for the less popular 3 inch receiver size. Im also not feeling real comfortable with the idea of using a sleeve to convert a 3 inch to a 2 and a half inch receiver.. At $150 bucks it seems like I can't go wrong if its still available!!!
  2. See now. Steve, what you just said is absolutely relevant. Knowing that the bed height of an aluminum Superduty with single rear wheels is higher than that of a dually I can feel confident in assuming that if you can tow level on multiple trailers then there's a good chance I can tow level too with my lower hitch height dually. Considering the fact that I can purchase this hitch for $150bucks it seems like money well spent. If it doesn't work out for me then I feel confident that I can at least get my money back selling it.
  3. I think something better is needed, just not sure a train horn is it. Ive got a horn on my motorcycle thats got more presence than the horn on my 2017 Lariat Powerstoke CC Dually
  4. Ive got a 2017 F350 crew with dual 17 inch wheels and 4 wheel drive. The suspension is as is from factory. Im wanting to purchase an adjustable 3 inch shank BW tow and stow hitch. Im trying to avoid going the route of a 7.5" drop and was wondering if the shorter 4.5" drop model will get me even close to level when pulling the average height trailer. I dont have the trailer to measure as I haven't purchased it yet but there is a great deal on a used hitch that Id like to jump on before it gets snatched up. Anyone???
  5. Thanks for the warm welcome Mason
  6. Do yourself a favor and place a rubber grommet where that air hose passes through the bed!!!
  7. Name is Tom and wanted to stop in and introduce myself as being the "new kid on the block". Just purchased a 2017 F350 Lariat and look forward to gaining insight into the features and things to look out for. Not new to Fords but new to the 6.7 Powerstoke. Hoping my experience with the 6.7 will be better than past experience with the 6.0 PS
