Just bought a 2011 f250 short bed. To sum that up the bed is toast, completely rusted, i thought it would be pretty easy to find a new bed but i guess a semi rust free bed is a rarity these days. I found one for a 2004 f250 of the same length i read somewhere that all the beds are interchangeable but im wondering if it would look odd to have an older (2004) bed on a newer (2011) truck. If anyone has any photos of something similar that would help. Also would it be a direct swap? All bolt holes, harnesses and mounting the same? Would my newer gen rear bumper still fit fine with the older gen bed? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
