I have a 2006 F-250 6.0 and I am almost certain that my oil cooler is done.
I believe it is leaking oil and in addition, oil has gotten into my dgas bottle.
A local shop quoted me $1800 to fix. Problem is I don't have the $$ right now.
My question is, if I keep running it like that (I always make sure it has oil and temps have not been out of acceptable range),
what other issues can this cause?
I am just trying to put off the repair so I can gather up the $$, but I am scared the damn thing is gonna blow up.
