  4. Posted @ Sandusky ACH today..........

ACH employees (hired before 10.24.2011) can now sign up to transfer to open positions @ Louisville & Chicago.

    Time frame 1Q - 2Q 2012

    No mention of number needed

Before you get your undies in a bunch, just because they are doing a survey doesn't mean that nay of them are going anywhere soon.

BUT, then again they might start moving them before the snow starts to melt.

    AND THE PLOT THICKENS.

  5. To quote a sheet the union handed out @ Sandusky this morning (12.21.2011).

"OHAP - The E-series van should balance out sometine in 2014, when the medium truck and motorhome chassis arrive from Mexico. Due to lower production volumes of these new products, OHAP will eventually lose 103 jobs. However, they may need as many as 132 people to fill short term needs, due to employees there signing for transfer to LAP."

  6. One of the first things many of you have to learn is when to go for the pie in the sky contract and when not to. I just saw an article that showed the profits and losses by quarter for Ford From 2007 till 2011. If you add up the losses and add up the profits what you get is the company has not earned enough profit to offset the the losses in that time frame. You also have to open up your eyes and look around and see that we are not an island unto our selves. There are still about 9.8% of Americans out of work. In this type of economy you shouldn't be bitching about the size of the gift horse, you should be very happy that you have the gift horse in the first place. For those that are so stupid that you can not figure that out I am talking about it is a good paying job.

When the economy was in the tank in the 1980's the UAW gave back items. Some of those have never returned and never will. We had other items that we won back, plus more, in succeding contracts when the economy as a whole turned up.

STOP THINKING ABOUT YOURSELF AS A SINGLE UNIT AND THINK ABOUT WHAT IS GOOD FOR THE 41,000+ PEOPLE THAT THE UAW HAS TO BARGIN FOR

  7. Gary, if I read you correctly you do not want any new investment in our plants, no new jobs in the US, and no increase in profit sharing. can deduce that what you want Ford to do is to go out of business in the United States. If that is the case we loose 41,000 jobs. I do not what you are thinking but you need to figure out that this is not the 1970's. The times have changed and you need to come to the 2010's. STOP YOUR BULLSHIT BEFORE YOU PUT ME OUT OF A JOB.
