  1. The "rattle" makes a sound like a loose shock and is much more pronounced when on a rough road. They indicated that all suspension parts had been re-tightened. I also forgot to mention that the work order indicated that they also removed the rear hatch. Since it did not make noise for the first 3,000 miles, I just figured that something loosened up or a part failed. Any other thoughts would be appreciated.
  2. 2009 Mariner Premier with constant rattle in right rear. Vehicle was taken to the dealer for warranty work. The work order indicated "rattle confirmed," checked suspension parts (tightened?), removed rear hatch. When we picked up the car, the service manager said there was no rattle. Picked up the car and the rattle was still there. Went home and checked the spare tire well. Everything is tight a secure. There are no loose items in the car. Vehicle presently has 6,500 miles. The rattle started at about 3,000 miles. Has anyone experienced this problem or does anyone have an ideas as to what may be happening.
