The overdrive lockout button is on the end of the shift lever where it can be bumped while shifting from park to drive and the small (O/Doff) light can be missed while driving. But usually a driver will see the light and tap the switch again to engage O/D and it defaults back to normal mode every time the key is cycled off & on. Suggestion: It's under warranty so take it back to your dealer and discuss it with your service advisor.

They r&r'ed them, replaced the fluid, Reused the pan gasket?........ The RPM's are still higher, but lower than before in city driving, normal on freeway.............awaiting towing season see what happens then.
