abbie
Do the 2007 F150's still use the Relay & Resistor to enable Daytime Running Lights? (PN's YL1Z-13B218-AA /XL3Z-14A601-AA) I have read a few articles indicating that these are the part numbers to use in order to activate the DRL's on 1999 & newer F150's. I just want to confirm that this is the same procedure for 2007 trucks, and that Ford hads not gone to a programmable DRL - SJB (Smart Junction Box) on the F150. Thanks
smsfordman
The 2007 does not use the smart junction box for the drl and yes it does use the relay and resistor however the vehicle is not wired as such if not order with this option. In the relay box there is a space for the relay but you may not have terminals inside to connect it to .
yellow98cobra.com
I have the auto lamps in my lariat and have placed a folded over piece of yellow paper over the sensor. Now when its cloudy out my lights come if it is sunny they stay off.
