grimesdr
Ford should consider the following cars from Ford Austalia. The cars they build elsewhere are far better looking then what they give the Americans to look at. Focus Coupé-Cabriolet http://www.ford.com.au/servlet/ContentServ...4&c=DFYPage Falcon XR8 Ute http://www.ford.com.au/servlet/ContentServ...e&c=DFYPage Mondeo XR5 Turbo http://www.ford.com.au/servlet/ContentServ...e&c=DFYPage Territory Ghia Turbo http://www.ford.com.au/servlet/ContentServ...4&c=DFYPage
156n3rd
While all the units really look good, the Ute would be one of the coolest things we could see on these roads. The coupe is cool too.
igor
Ford should consider the following cars from Ford Austalia. Ford is planning new small trucks, one of them is to be introduced this summer Mondeo (not XR5) - Production begins in 2012 - Mondeo XR5 - notgonnahappen.com - the I5 Turbo will not be present - Ford will use I4 and V6 and their Turbo variants for the new car. Territory - probably will not happen, right now - but in 2012-2014 the Explorer and the Territory might become one. Turbo - yes, but not on the I6 - that engine is dead in 2 years. Igor I think you under estimate what Americans will buy. Take the Falcon XR8 Ute would do well in the right markets. But Ford will never know how well any of these products would do over here because they do not test market them. If they brought over say 20 of the Falcon XR8 Ute and handed them out to average people to drive for 6 months in key markets to see the responses. Ford has lost touch in America and the marketing team needs to be replaced !!!
156n3rd
The Ka appreas to be a much better bet than the SMART. It's proven, accepted technology that's priced right and works rather well. It is a big success overseas.
