range Posted April 29, 2006 Share Posted April 29, 2006 Hyundai boss arrested in S Korea The chairman of Hyundai Motor Group, Chung Mong-Koo, has been arrested in South Korea on embezzlement charges. Mr Chung and Hyundai are accused of creating slush funds to pay politicians and officials for business favours. LINK Hyundai Boss Arrested No wonder US companies are basically banned from selling cars in Korea, they weren't ahh, 'competitive' with Hyundai in that vast level playing field called South Korea.
