ackbar
So I had to have my FFH valet parked this morning. When I returned to pick it up, the valet who parked it couldn't figure out how to start it. I had to walk with him to where it was parked and show him how to start it! I thought it was kind of funny. I figured the ignition couldn't be easier to use since you just turn the key like any other car, but I just take it for granted and guess he was confused due to the lack of engine noise. The same thing actually happened to me with the Ford dealer valet yesterday when I took it in for the 5,000-mile service -- he came back and said, "The car won't start!" (One of his coworkers had to remind him that it's a hybrid...) 2010SEL
You'd think with the job market the way it is that they could easily find some half-way intelligent people to fill these valet positions. After all, hybrids have been around for many years now. Its almost impossible to believe that these "valets" have never been exposed to a hybrid vehicle before. Especially one working at a dealership.
