It is at least very similair to the pioneer units - i have one an older pioneer in my 04 ford and plan on upgrading to one of their newer units. They have most the same functions as the ford sync system. The nav itself is part of telenav if I am not mistaken. The work solutions station that is an option is part of a garmin system.
