oogravyoo Posted January 2, 2011 Share Posted January 2, 2011 I have a 2009 Fusion and the fan for the heat/AC has stopped working.. I checked what I believe are the correct fuses and they look fine. you can hear the heat/ac turning on but the fans dont kick in.. anyone have any ideas? oogravyoo Posted January 4, 2011 Author Share Posted January 4, 2011 Is it a warranty issue? yea its going to go in.. just wondering if someone new something simple that could be done.. but after some more research it looks like its a common problem with the HVAC blower. msudawginmd Posted March 8, 2011 Share Posted March 8, 2011 It is a faulty blower, mine would shut down the HVAC when set on auto but worked fine at most speeds. I thought it was something else but the dealer said it was the blower fan, replaced the part for @$60 myself and problem is gone. Whole thing took about 15 minutes to complete.
