I used get in arguments with my high school buddies that FORD were horrible cars. In my defense, I attributed all my FORD experience to a used mid 1980 Escort (it was a death trap). Now I will openly admit to eating crow as I sat in a NEW Explorer in true amazement. I ordered one immediately. Also it feels good to see an American Company like FORD start to be contender in the industry this great land gave birth to. Thanks for all the great posts...
