RHermann Posted July 2, 2011 Share Posted July 2, 2011 Hello, The first heat wave of the Summer and my A/C is not functioning when the vehicle is at an idle and is functioing poorly at speed. This morning I checked the fans and neither fan is operating while the vehicle is parked in the driveway after ~20 minutes of driving and with A/C set to Max A/C. The fuses (?) in the engine bay box for the fan and aux fan are very hot to the touch so I have not pulled them to check continuity. While inspecting the vehicle, the temperature climbed beyond the midway point on the display gauge. Does anyone have a temporary (or permanent) solution to get me through the weekend with family in town and frequent use of the Explorer?
