dhalucha Posted April 18, 2012 Share Posted April 18, 2012 I needed a little bit of help. I worked for Ford from 98' to 06'. I started the Metal Model Maker apprenticeship in 2001 and finished it in 2005. A year later I was going home from work and I was in a serious car accident; my escape saved my life, but the accident left me disabled. Ford offered me the School buy-out option in the meantime. I have finished the school and now hold a Bach degree in science, and have 5 years rehire preference. Disability had decided that my head injury, stuttering and spine injuries are not enough to keep me from working, so I was looking into coming back to Ford.
