dtorres
Where is Ford's advertising campaign for the C-Max? For an all new vehicle to N.A. scheduled to be released by the end of September there hasn't been much out there on it. This vehicle is Ford's frontal assault on the hybrid segment leader the Prius and specifically the Prius V. In So. Cal. the Prius is a popular vehicle and the Prius V is no exception. Yet I haven't seen a single TV ad, no bill boards, no radio ads, nothing on the C-Max. I'm no Don Draper so maybe I'm missing something here, but it seems like a few dollars should be spent introducing this about to be released vehicle to N.A. From what I've read it has alot to offer compared to a Prius. Though imho it's going to take a solid ad campaign to convince people why they should go Ford hybrid instead of Toyota hybrid in this vehicle class. dtorres
They did a Southern California event for the news media yesterday with a 50 mile test drive route. Great article here about it with some new pictures of the interior. http://www.insideline.com/ford/c-max-hybrid/2013/2013-ford-c-max-hybrid-first-drive.html
mtberman
We finally saw an ad on TV for the C max last night. I don't think they're advertising them much for now. When I was shopping dealers all told me that they can't keep the cars instock, other than the base cars in white.
ldm
I am not an advertising mogal but it would make sense to not lay out big money to advertise a product that is already selling to the point where you have a hard time keeping up with production.
