Kcabear Posted January 10, 2013 Share Posted January 10, 2013 Would any Ford employees know if its possible to get a set of side gears for the rear Trac Loc differential before they have the splines machined in them? I narrowed an 02 Dana 60 and 10.50 six inches and am about to put them under my 05 Ranger. My problem is the 10.50's axle shafts cannot be cut down and splined with zero available aftermarket and the shafts from a Dana 60/70 use a different pitch spline. If I can get the side gears and have Dana splines machined I can use the widely available aftermarket shafts. Thanks everyone for any help.
