NLPRacing
2014 Ford Transit It says the GVWRs will range from 8,600 to 10,360 pounds and have payloads in excess of 5,000 pounds. But, no numbers for GCWR and towing yet.
Arizona Mike
I noticed that the cutaway and chassis cab will offer a 178" wheelbase. The current Sprinter chassis is at 170" and limits the length of a motorhome to 25 1/2 feet. The new Transit ought to be able to go up to about 28 feet on that longer wb. That would really give them an edge over at least the current Sprinter. Then with the current engine options, this could be a really sweet small motorhome chassis. Far better than the E series in those sizes. Mike, Sprinter owner, but not proud of it.
