Deej0401 Posted May 23, 2013 Share Posted May 23, 2013 (edited) My Escape has about 6k miles on it and i have noticed that the roof creaks and has an annoying little rattle that happens when the roof is closed. Im not sure if it is some moulding around the roof or what but I just had it in the shop for the first service at 5k miles and it wasn't doing it before. Just wondering if anyone else has had this problem. I can't stand annoying rattles!! Drives me insane!! Escapism Posted May 24, 2013 Share Posted May 24, 2013 (edited) I had that noise for about half a day. It was just the other day, the hottest day of the spring so far. If I reached my hand up and put pressure on the black plastic molding that is roughly in the center, it would stop. Then it went away as fast as it appeared.
