Rebes
Hi Everyone, I have a question about the Rapid-Heat Supplemental Cab Heater available in the Super-Duty... I ordered a 2015 F-350 6.7L Lariat Crew Cab Short Box on August 30th, so I'm playing the waiting game... As I'm waiting, I noticed some people have said that the Rapid-Heat Supplemental Cab Heater is worth adding on... When I play around with the builder on the Ford.ca web site (Yes, I'm Canadian, that might be important), there doesn't seem to be a cost difference between having it or not... there's no $ value in the box, like for other options. So I thought, maybe I can ask my salesman if it can still be added on... He replied that it was too late to add it on, however he stated that the 2015 F-350 Lariat 6.7L includes the Rapid-Heat Supplemental Cab Heater as a standard option. Is this true? The brochure that I can download from the ford.ca website for the Super Duty lists it as optional for the Lariat... If it's too late, and it's not really there it's fine, but I would like to know if he's correct, because it would be a nice surprise to get the heater! Justinw
It was my understanding that rapid heat is standard in Canada, I could be wrong.
tmilicia
That is what I understood too. Certain regions of the US, including Canada, automatically get the supplemental heat and block heater.
