GeneralMayhem
I've got a powered sub that I had in my truck and I'd like to install it in my Fusion. Problem is, I have no idea how to get the dash apart nor where to hook the remote power to. I've been unsuccessful as of yet tracking down the information either. I'm pretty sure I'm going to need a line-out converter and am fine with wiring that up, providing I can find a schematic for the stock head unit. I've got what I assume is the base head unit (not the 8" one) and only four speakers in the doors. Does anyone know how to get the dash apart and where to wire up to? Thanks. GeneralMayhem
Thanks for the link to the video! I was just about to say that I saw the thread for the install in a 2013 here and finally got the PDFs working. When I initially signed up here, they wouldn't download. Looking at those, the dash appears to be identical so I'll be going off of those. I just hope the remote turn-on can be hooked up to the amp enable wire (SME56) otherwise I'll be stuck hunting in the fuse box...
