The "trailer light" in the cluster often takes takes a few miles/minutes before it lights up. I presume it is monitoring some drive train dynamics. boredinbirmingham Posted February 11, 2020 Author Share Posted February 11, 2020 I’ve been towing this trailer now for a couple weeks and sometimes it comes on and sometimes it doesn’t. It really comes down to weight and if I get on the highway or not. Taking the LP tanks out of the front can keep the setting off until I get on the highway. It’s a super sensitive system. As stated before, the vehicle is far smarter than I when it comes to what it should do when towing a trailer. I just keep it between the lines and enjoy the ride.
